usb passtrough

Hello

I would like to ask a question about usb passtrough. I recently bough M401 model usb passtrough and when I try to use with my laptop it doesnt work and I did see it blink once or twice but then it dont work. I manage to puff a little vapor from it after that it went dead. I try other port also the same, then I try at other PC and it work, my question why does the passtrough behave like that? I try other device at my laptop and the usb port is ok, mean it is not the port that gave me problem

It takes at least 700 miliamps to run a passthrough and 1amp is even better. Computer ports and even usb wall plugs and car plugs wattage can vary widely and is likely the reason why some work for you and some don't.
