Do I need to let the batteries drain down all the way before recharging them? I’ve been told that you can start charging lithium ion whenever you want, but I can't find any info about the battery type I have. It’s an E9 starter from Red Dragon.

Also… If mine isn’t a LI battery, are there any models that are lithium ion?

Thanks

They are all Lithium Ion, and they definitely do not have a memory problem as nickel cadmiums do. LI batts are primarily made up of lithium oxide, carbon, and cobalt. You can charge them from any point of discharge with no adverse effects. they should be properly recycled as they do contain valuable metals.
