Do most people buy new carts or refill?

I enjoy a fresh new carto but the majority of my vaping is with refills. I haven't noticed a drop off in vapor production until I've reused a carto 10-15 times and even then it's still good. I haven't been able to get some of my favorite flavors in carts so filling is my only option for these flavors. I'm vaping a delicious strawberry cheesecake right now that I can't get in a prefilled. Cost really isn't an issue for me but flavor is. So I fill most of my own.

Very lazy here. Not rich either, but I tell myself that the first half a year or so off cigs allows me some laziness. We did quit smoking cigs, after all, and that's huge.

So my wife and I vape fresh cartos each day and then save them in a huge bag for a rainy day... someday, sometime... when we may refill. Or may not. By the way, that big bag of used cartos smells surprisingly good--all those delicious flavs mixed together! :D

Jeffree, sounds like it's time for you and the missus to make a giant pot of carto stew!

I haven't used cartos much, mostly 3 piece models with seperate attys (401,510,901), but more recently I've been trying some cartos. I've been refilling, but have not yet deep cleaned any. I burnt the first two I used pretty quickly after letting them get too dry. Since then I've been topping them off before they get dry.

I just pop the tops off (hard or soft top) and drip into it, and thermometer shake (drip some more if it still looks dry), and replace the top. Simple enough with a paperclip. I've overfilled a couple of times, just thermometer shake the excess out through the batt connector and its ok.

I don't think I'm going to go the cleaning route with cartos. The whole point of me trying them over attys was to avoid the atty maintenance hassles (draining cleaning etc). Once the carto gets burnt or otherwise too messed up... that's that... time for a new one for me. I haven't been using them long enough to know how long they last till they're "otherwise too messed up", but I don't expect to use the same cart for more than a week. I've got two in use right now that I started earlier this week.

So far, I like the capacity and convenience of cartos, but I don't like how they can "spit" at you. Also a freshly filled cart with clean blue-foam filler on a seperate atty seems "cleaner", but of course at the expense of having done all that cleaning :)

I have two xl case set-ups (8 batts and 16 cartos). I use one case until all the flavors have been vaped once and then switch to the second case. New system, so not sure if I will refill the cartos for one month or two months before dumping ... leaning towards one month.

P.S. I, usually, vape between 3 to 4 cartos a day.

I buy a pack of carts and if I really like it I buy a bottle of juice, refill the carts from the pack and then toss them after a few fills, then reorder the pre-filled carts and repeat. I don't bother washing them. Saves me money this way with minimal effort. I do prefer the fresh new carts though so I decided no washing, I'd rather spend the savings for the enjoyment of a fresh pack. I have been doing the condom fill cause my RY4 was hard cap glued prem so I've gotten used to doing it with all, but I'm gonna try the other way with my soft smilins and watermelons this weekend.

Workdays (long and busy) i just use cartos. Of late, whatever any engineer over there insists, I burn one to the first yuk, toss it, and run another. (The most recent purchases burn up faster, period, but they still usually go as long as almost a pack of cigs, so I'm good - they are nicer in some ways, too.) On weekends I get out my zillion juices, fill blanks, top cartos, make blends, whatever I feel like. Because it's fun. I tried the boiling thing, but nah. Huge hassle if you ask me. And I do the condo method when I feel like it and have time, and I fill from the top when I want a juicier carto, or am just in the mood to, and I spin most always. (And I don't care about a lot of vapor; in fact, it's a big stealth problem in movie theaters and other public places - I use the old regs I still have for that), and I hope the WOWS aren't just a VG step-up for the plume-fiends.) But I'm lighthearted about everything 'cept the possible New York ban, which isn't going to stop me, anyway.
