Do Nic levels vary from vendor to vendor?

Hey folks,

I am looking to order some new juice from vendors that people tend to talk about often. But im worried about spending money and not getting something i like. Not referring to flavor though. Im refering to the Nicotine levels.

Yes i am fully aware that I can choose how much nic I want....BUT ive encountered some inconsistencies between some juices I ordered from diff vendors. All were 18mg. 18mg is what I originally ordered when I took up the whole E-cig thing. But sometimes i order juice at the same 18mg and it murders my throat and inturn kills the taste...

Anyone experience this... I want to order new liquid but dont want it to be too harsh or get a lower nic level and end up with new liquid that doesnt cut it...

the only place i have gotten wrong nic flavor is from honeyville. i ordered 6mg and i must have gotten 18 or 24. it was crazy, head started spinning after 2 drags. i ordered 20 diff flavors from them that time and 2 of them were crazy high. i havent noticed a difference from the other 10 or so vendors ive tried.

Some juice is very harsh. I won't mention vendors but some vendors have juice that is harsh. Some people find PG juice harsh (I don't particularly- depending on the vendor), some find Chinese juice harsh- some love it.

Higher nicotine tastes different to me- you can't taste the flavor as much and it just has a stronger taste.

All juice should be exactly what the bottle says it is. Are you saying you've ordered the same juice, both 18 and they tasted differently?

Yup. I sure do. I have to say that before I started DIY I noticed inconsistencies in the nic levels from different vendors too. One of the things that made me turn to DIY.

glsec507, it could also just be the Nic itself that the vendor is using, some Nic is much cleaner, better, then others, just a thought.
