A week ago, I purchased the new $35 mini-kit, with the menthol pack, and I bought a java pack seperate. Immediately upon opening and charging, I found out that one of my batteries barely turned on (requiring gigantic inhales, sometimes not turning on at all) while the other included worked fine. I found out that 9, yes NINE of my cartos were dried and fried, (4 java's, and 3 menthols) each having an extremely acidic, acrid burnt cotton taste, with a metallic burn that make me cough, gag, and spit up mucus, as well as making the room smell like campfire smoke. In comparison, the ones that did work were pleasant tasting and did not aggrivate my throat.
If that was not bad enough, however, exactly 4 days later, my charger pack completely stops working! No charge, no lights, nothing! It wasn't the adaptor either, nor the chord, as my pack had decent charge and would have lit up upon inserting a battery anyway.
Do not buy from Blu; thet sell faulty, broken products to steal money from people. This is straight fraud by law. It's be OK if stores would return these products, or if there was an online service that was friendly, quick, and did returns on ALL products. Doesn't seem to be the case for most people.
$50 down the drain unless they fix this. I bought Blu from a store because I did not want a family member to know I ever smoked, which Blu, not having a scent, allowed me a secret alternative in the house. This means I did NOT want to fool with shipping because of the obvious fact that family members would look at the package, and this now means I at least have to wait two more weeks to send this in as that's when I'm moving out. Who the heck ever bought a rechargable AA battery kit and it stop working? Who ever bought a TV that didn't turn on? This is ridiculous, and if Blu doesn't exchange every bit of it, I may just file a lawsuit. It's one thing to have a burnt carto, it's another for a company to purposely sell me a kit that does not work, especially when half the cartos were faulty too.
