Two eFest button top 18350 800mAh last me 8 hours in total, so I'm wondering, is calibration in order?

With cell phone batteries, I try that the first charges to be full and completely depleted for the first four or five charges. That enables the battery to sustain charge for longer periods.

In the Zmax telescopic it never gets over 4.0v fully charged. On the eVic you lose 1% a puff.

I don't believe any Li-Ion cells require calibration at any point, never have read it suggested nor have I found it necessary (even on phones etc).

800mah isn't all that much, and depending on your delivery system setup and its amperage draw, that sounds about right (I get 4-6 hours from my AW 700mah using 8-9 watts).

With Li-Ion cells they'd prefer to never be run down to the cutoff voltage (3.2-3.5v) and receive charges sooner. Running them down won't necessarily be detrimental (unless using a mechanical and go into the 2v range) but you can technically extended battery life by avoiding the cut off & charging sooner.

I never let mines run all the way down for the most part & so far they are consistent. The only time they happen to run all the way down is when I'm lounging around on a day off but I always grab a fresh batt when I'm gonna be out for a couple of hours. Don't wanna risk one dying on me while I'm out.

My understanding of it is li-on's do not require charge cycling, but level indictors do.
Actually Apple suggests a charge cycle at least once a month.
I don't worry about it at all for ecig batteries though.

Use iPhone Regularly
For proper maintenance of a lithium-based battery, it’s important to keep the electrons in it moving occasionally. Be sure to go through at least one charge cycle per month (charging the battery to 100% and then completely running it down).
