Reading other threads, I keep encountering allusions to this. Are some atomizing methods far more juice-efficient than others? Is there some trade-off involved (faster juice consumption = more TH or flavor et al...), or does it have to do with choice of wicking material? Any insight or discussion along these lines would be appreciated. Thanks.

while many factors are involved for sure, and opinions as well as usage will differ, i have noticed it seems to actually be less with my SSmesh devices compared to my silica wick devices, my genesis doesnt eat juice nowhere near as fast as my old vivi nova did i could vape 2-3 mls an a couple hours in the nova.

Yes, it depends on a lot of things: solid wicks, thin wicks, coil resistance, etc. Genesis types, with stainless steel mesh wicks will generally handle higher wattages than silica wick devices, and some people will vape them much higher, which will result in faster juice consumption.

And all that vapor and flavor is a beautiful thing.

Yeah, now that you put it that way this seems obvious, thanks. I hadn't thought of this in terms of pure wattage per se. So the trade-off would be less power = less powerful vape with lower juice consumption and vice versa, and I would guess that we can make whatever choice we like (within the variable range of our particular battery mod), regardless of atomizer, rebuildable or otherwise.

now its time to learn DIY so the juice is cheapo supreme and then you wont care lol

Already have that going on, and just use tobacco flavors so getting it right is no big deal. I have both VZ Real Cig and French Pipe and they're both fine. If I mix them together that's fine too. I'm not terribly fussy. But though by developed world standards I am most definitely poor, my major concern with the longevity of all things vape-related is more due to the political climate than the economic one.

Now it's time to decide whether to go after the ZAP when they next go live, or shoot straight for the Foggatti, which is even more expensive but appears to have no flaws. Meanwhile my Terminator Plus w/ glass tank is on it's way.

Oh wow, now I want a Cobra too! This translates to about $180 US, but I will definitely be looking at vids of this one too. Thanks for the tip.

phiniac is the USA supplier for the cobra, and if you sign up for the cobra email notification they will alert you before they go on sale. $152 from them.

i got mine from alba when the conversion rate was a little better as alba usually doesnt stay out of stock very long (it's their baby after all)it is perfect size to fit the topcap on a provari and the titanium makes it much lighter then it looks.

Vapedudes has Cobras in stock now. I just received one today. $152.

Man, I sort of wish you hadn't told me that, because I watched Scott's Alba Vapors video and then went to Vape Dudes and pulled the trigger. $155 shipped. I really can't afford it, but I guess I can because I can still cover rent and utilities and have about $17 left over.

Besides, life is short and who needs food? I'm self employed, and will make some more $$$ this week. And I'll have a Cobra! Yay!

As far as watts, I think the spin-E setup might be the most efficient. I have one of my duds set up that way with a 2.9 ohm coil and my yj2 set at 3.9 volts which works out to be a mere 5.24 watts.

Some of the ss users are running duel coils at extremely high wattage. they're pumping huge amounts of vapor and bound to be going through juice like crazy. Of course, ss almost demands a primer puff, and I guess you could count that as wasted vapor.
