Do SmokeTip cartridges really last as long as 1.25 packs of regular cigs?

Hope I didn't confuse you more. Any kit you get you'll like. And if you like vaping (which I hope you do) it won't be your last one. You can't go wrong with any.

You could start small, see how you do. Then get a bigger model and keep the mini for a backup. I'd probably go for the ego, but that's me. I do have a small pv, a 510 that I take when I walk the dog or go shopping.

Best of luck with your decision- Here's hoping you'll be cig-free in 2012!! Whatever you get, don't put pressure on yourself. I didn't start vaping with the intention of quitting. Didn't think I could. But I slowly liked vaping more and more until one day- no cigs!

...............wv2win - I was fascinated to read that I am not a typical vaper and that i am on the very light side! I felt like i was for sure on the opposite end of the spectrum because i smoke so much! Wow! I only learned about vaping yesterday so I'm a very new newb! Can you please tell me how much juice a typical vaper uses in a day or however you would describe their usage? I am thinking that it would cost so much money to vape more than 5ml a day!.............

Actually I was referring to the comments made by lilac7779.

Good luck with your vaping, however.

Thank you all for your great responses!

swedishfish - I meant compared to all prefilled cartomizers. I've been smoking for about 25 years and i smoke about 2 packs a day of Pyramid Red 100's or Maverick 100's. I'm willing to spend more money if i can find what I'm looking for. I'd ideally like to find something that contains about 3ml of juice without having to fill it myself. I'm not expecting there to be anything out there like that but i don't know. I guess filling is no big deal, but if I wonder if I would need to refill a cartridge more than once a day to get 3ml of juice if i bought the Joye 510 that someone mentioned. I don't even know if i'm using the right terminology in my questions, but to make it clearer, i would like to find a way to vape 3 - 5 ml juice a day with the least amount of work involved since I'm a beginner. Any more advice would be much appreciated!!

tj99959 - Thank you for suggesting the Joye 510! You said, "If you smoke 2 PAD that's about like vaping 3-5ml of juice a day." What is PAD? Thank you in advance!

I've only been at this for a month but I'll give you an idea of what I'm vaping. For me it's not so much quantity but quality. I doubt I smoke more then 3ml but it is high nicotine levels. First thing in the morning is the worst so it's several good hits of 36mg nicotine. The rest of the day is 24 mg of nic.

These aren't prefilled but ones I fill myself. As is there's 4 batteries, each with it's own carto and flavor. That way I'm not stuck with one flavor or constantly changing cartos. I top them all off at least once a day, sometimes twice if I'm vaping heavily. I'm not running them dry but just topping them off. Probably 5-10 drops in each. Takes only a few minutes to do this.

I smoked 1 1/2 PAD (packs a day) but my draw on them was hard and on regular's not 100's. Even then I'd only smoke 1/2 to 2/3 of a cig. But I'd have one every 15-30 minutes. With the e-cigs I'm not having to go outside anymore to light up. Probably taking just as many tokes on the e-cig as I was on the analogs. I really feel the nicotine on the 36 mg but not so much on the 24mg. But the cravings for cigarettes isn't that strong anymore. Just finished up the last carton that I bought in case these didn't work out. Even the last few packs took a long time to get rid of, smoking 2-3 a day. I'm now totally free of 'real' cigarettes and have a system that works well for me.

I've worked through the cartridges, moved on to carto's and found several flavors I like. I'm still taste testing newer flavors but not as anxious as to finding a few that work well for me. Syringe filling cartos is easy and topping off with a few drops isn't difficult. Just had my first set of cartos get kinda clogged up so I started some new ones and cleaned the old ones hoping they'll be fine after drying out. Even tried one of the ones I cleaned and it's almost like new as to TH and pull.

I did start with cartidges but it didn't take long to switch to cartos. They're so much easier to use. (and cheaper too, so far) They're suppose to be disposable but cleaning them and reusing them seems to work too.
