Yes, I use everclear but I would probably stay away from rubbing alcohol. If you can't drink it I don't want to use it to clean my clearo's. I wouldn't recommend drinking everclear either but you can, technically. I haven't drank it since high school but if I remember correctly it wasn't very pleasant, but it won't kill you. You will just feel like it.

Good, I'm soaking it in 100 proof Vodka.

I have had really good luck with just warm water. With the availability of inexpensive replacement heads, I do not work too hard to extend their life unnecessarily. To answer your question, Yes you can clean with alcohol, however after a couple beers I prefer to lay around a watch TV. lol. I have also used denture cleansers with some success, just be sure to rinse well or you get a minty taste.

Yeah I know, but it hasn't been that long and I felt that cleaning it might help.

I find mine tend to become kinda unusable very quickly if I don't clean them at least once every 3-5 full cycles of use. If I never cleaned them, I would be rebuilding heads weekly. I usually don't soak them though. That's more of a once-a-week thing. Every other time that I fill them, I blow as much juice out of em as I can, dab/brush the wicks with q-tips, dry-burn some of the gunk off of the coils, dab again with a damp q-tip, and rinse the tanks. All in all, it takes 3 minutes and gives me a much better vape than I get from constantly topping them off.

Oh yea, believe me "I am thrifty". I clean my Kanger T-2 heads every few days. The wicks tend to leave the darker fluid behind, so an occasional rinse is needed. I started out with distilled water heated in the microwave and soaked, then thoroughly dried. Now its just a quick rinse at the sink, shake dry and reload.

I just clean with rinsing a bunch of times with hot water and dry burn a couple times and your on your way. I found that if I got a slight leak you can see on the top of the battery I take the EGO apart, remove the o-ring and use rubbing alcohol to carefully clean the little O-ring on the bottom and its groove. I think if you jar it or carry it in your jeans pocket you break the o-ring seal and it begins to leak. My wife came home yesterday with hers leaking a bit and after cleaning the o-ring it don't leak no more.
