Do you clean out (and how) the atty in a clearo when you switch juice?

For clearomizer types like the Evod, I just rinse the tube and head and wick real good with water and let them dry overnight. For atomizers, which are totally different than clearomizers if you are referring to the ones with a heating coil in them that are used for dripping only, I would boil them or soak them in PGA real good and let them dry out overnight as well.

I don't rinse the tube or atty if just refilling until I change juices or after about five or six refills if it seems sluggish or soggy tasting.

For the eVod, I rinse the tube with very hot tap water, then remove the atty from the base and hold the atty under a stream of water from the faucet and let water squirt out the bottom for a while, then reverse and let water squirt out the top of the atty. I then blot the wicks a bit with paper towel to wick out the extra moisture and let dry overnight. I leave the tank and bottom separated until I am ready to refill to keep the tank from getting funky.

Essentially the same as I do. If I'm in a hurry and don't want to dry overnight, I blot the wicks as much as possible and do a short pulse-dry burn. Run tissue folded up on the end of a blunt needle to dry out the tube and mouth piece. Works fine. First couple hits might have a little extra moisture but returns to normal quickly.

...

Here is something you might want to Try. And that is Flushing Out your Atty/Clearo with Hot Water at EVERY Refill. No need to Dry it. Just Flick/Shake/Blow out as much water as Possible. Then Refill it as you Normally would.

The 1st hit or Two will be weak but after that, your Atty/Clearo will hit as it did, or Better.

I have found that by Flushing out Atty/Clearos at Every Refill that it Greatly Extends the time between Dry Burns.
