Do you find you get harsh hits with CE2's when they are not full?

I've been using my CE2's for 3 days now and I notice they tend to get harsh throat hits when they are not full. I think I have figured out why and how to fix it but I want to know if it's just me or if everyone has this problem.

If a lot of other folks have this problem I will tell why I think this happens and my fix for it. Seems to be smoothest when very full and seems to get harsher as it empties.

That can be common, especially in the older style CE2s that have the multiple thin wicks as opposed to the one thicker wick (that comes down both sides). The lower the juice level, the further it has to go up the wick and the worse it performs. Not sure what trick you've found, but sometimes adjusting that inner gasket to raise it up a little helps. Also, just inverting your e-cigaretteg for a few seconds can help too.

Yeah the style I have only has the one wick down each side. I first noticed it about half way through my first fill. I hated the harshness. If you look closely you can see the inner gasket binding on the wick preventing it from wicking properly. My fix is to either cut the notches for the wick bigger or just remove the inner gasket and use the smaller first gasket in it's place with a good drip tip to help hold it down. Both methods seem to work well. The coil has to be really saturated it seems or it will burn too hot and you get the harshness. I'm on my 2nd fill with each method and so far no harshness even when I am down to my last drop in the tube.
