Today for example I have over a dozen people ask me what I was doing. I get asked daily about my provari/lavatube. People are always asking if it is a pipe or what am I doing... I noticed most are not smokers also. I am all for helping people be aware and switching( I have converted 4 friends) but I am getting annoyed with people asking ALL the time and making comments thinking I am doing something wrong. I have no problem explaining but all the time is kinda annoying

Today I even had a retired doctor who said "oh does this give you cancer faster" I explained what it was to him but seriously mind your business.

Anyone else agree it gets annoying when being asked all the time and explaining what you are doing?

I do get sick of explaining my Ipro to people. It wasn't so bad when I was using my ego, but the first day I brought my Ipro to work and was using it on break a female coworker (that I've never been friendly with) said "Jesus, you bought another one of those stupid things?" I replied "Jesus, you bought another pack of those stupid things?" okay, not very witty I'll admit... But still. I don't get on people for smoking and would appreciate the same courtesy.
What I find strange is that 99% of the people I work with are completely accepting of my vaping. A lot of them are very interested and supportive of it. Mostly because if they have known me for a while, they know that some days I would smoke two packs a day and constantly had to have at let three packs on me at all times.
I explain my PV to people on a daily basis, and it sure does get old. Its worth it though, if one of every ten people I explain it to start using one, right? -That's what I tell myself ;)
Lately the smokers at work have taken on explaining it for me though! Someone new asks what on earth I am smoking and the boys pipe in and explain what it is. How they want to buy one but can't justify the cost to their spouse yet.

Maybe people in NY just mind their own business a little more/ don't start convos with strangers but in public I don't really get a lot of questions, and I rock a red SilverBullet with a tank so it's not very stealthy lol...it's mostly if I'm talking with a friend about vaping that strangers will ask how it works, if I like it and so on... I don't mind it at all, but like I said most people just walk by seeming not to notice the clouds of deliciousness I'm blowing out

What annoys me more than anything is when people ask "Do you put weed in it?" It makes me feel like they are acting like I'm doing something wrong. People always say those things don't work and I say oh yeah, and let out a cloud of vapor.

LOL I am asked that one also almost daily (I live in California) and does it vibrate. Sadly these are from people I do not know either. They see a bigger battery and feel the need to want to try to be a comedian.

I can tell when people are curious for themself's or just want to know to figure out what I am doing. When they want to know for switching or getting someone to switch. I give them tons of info. The others just annoy me.

They can't justify the cost to their spouse??? In total, in the last 212ish days, I've maybe spent $250 total (and that's a high estimate) on cartomizers, spare batteries, liquid. I smoked a pack a day, at $6 bucks a pack. $250 bucks wouldn't even buy me 6 weeks of cigarettes, let alone 7 months. yeah, seems more up front, but who buys 2 months of cigarettes at a time? You'd think their wives would be elated at the financial savings, nevermind that they now smell like hazelnut or vanilla cupcake rather than smoke. Wow. (don't even get me started on the likely medical costs later on, with cigs)

I do get that a lot though, people scoffing at how much a starter kit would be, but it generally evens out to the cost of cigarettes you'd buy for an equivalent length of time that the starter kit's carts would last.

Hahaha I've been asked that as well "Does it vibrate?" I even had a co-worker ask me once "Does your wife know you brought that to work?" So I keep my saber touch at home now lol

...if they don't wanna really know, they had better not ask 'cause I will get downright evangelical on them...I really liked the girl at the drive up window who said her boyfriend said they didn't work...I then proceeded to take a hit on my E-Power with Resurrectors and after exhaling a HUGE cloud of vapor from my 60%VG juice, I asked her if her BF ever exhaled something like that and if his E-cig looked like mine...she couldn't close her mouth to answer...lolol...amazingly(to me), I get more BS from smokers than from non-smokers...........
