No, They are talking about ml's not mg's . 60 ml of 100% pure liquid nicotine (100 mg) can be lethal if ingested all at once. You might find some folks who say 48 ml but still this is talking about 100% pure nicotine and still having to consume that 48 ml all at once. which is over an ounce and a half, you'd have to drink the stuff out of the bottle.. We don't have 100% pure nicotine for our e-cigs. We get nicotine that is cut with a percentage of PG or VG.. thats how all nicotine for e-liquid is sold. You can buy 100% pure nicotine from some chemical companies but this is never recommended.

The amount we vape is so small compared to this, and it's not only cut with pg or vg when it's sold, it's cut further with extra pg or vg and flavorings when the juice is mixed. We could never consume all at once by vaping the amount of nicotine needed to even make you sick much less kill a person.

Thanks, but I know what e juice is.. lol. And NO... he WAS talking about 48mg of nic per ml of vg or pg. That is a VERY high level, I vape at 6-8 mg's. Yes, you can get pure nicotine, or extract it from tabbaco yourself.. and add what ever strength you'd like to your pg, vg and flavorings. Buddy, he WAS vaping at 48mg's per ml. That is VERY dangerous. They don't sell stuff above 35mg's per ml, unless it's pure nicotine to DIY. Your post makes no sense....

I will try and explain this the best i can...

The other day i was walking down the street hadnt vaped for a while, not been vaping that long probably 20 days at the most i think... and i thought to myself i could just do with a ... right now and the temptation to crash one of my mates was unreal...

What im asking here is... will this feeling of wanting a ... be replaced with wanting to vape in time? so instead of thinking i could really do with a ..., you would be thinking... right i want to vape really bad!

anyone understand what im saying? just for me at the moment when my brain is low on nic its not " i must vape"! its "i must find a cig" and will it lead to the same satisfaction of smoking when you finally get your vape?

Honestly that urge hasn't gone away for me at least. When I'm out on town and surrounded by smokers. I kind of want one but then I start vaping like never before LOL I can go through 3ml in a few hours easy. Which is why I keep one of those little bottle caddies that juice vendors give out. Keep it on my key chain with an extra 3ml bottle and batts.

Just had to comment on this, for clarification... 100% pure liquid nicotine IS NOT 100 mg/ml. Pure nicotine would be about 990 mg/ml and would be very very dangerous. 100 mg/ml is 10% nicotine, also quite dangerous.

To answer the original question, vaping does satisfy my urge to smoke and pretty much did from the very first puff. I know it varies for different people though, so don't be discouraged if your experience is different.

True! So 48 mg/ml is basically about 4.8% nicotine. Pretty stout stuff, but I wouldn't think it would be lethal in normal doses. I wouldn't vape it though!

Right. And the only reason I posted the clarification is because you can find 'pure' nicotine available online. I didn't want someone to get that and mistakenly think it was 100 mg/ml. That could cause some serious problems if it was mixed up wrong, AND the pure stuff is very very dangerous to work with. Way beyond the safety measures that can be achieved in a bathroom or kitchen mixing 'lab'.

This is why you should always buy drugs mixed in someone else's kitchen. :)
