I've blown way too much money on E-juices that are name brand at my vape shop that sell for 1$/ml... so they're generally 30$ for a 30ml which I think is quite ridiculous.. not to mention sometimes I wont be able to try the juice before hand and going off reviews alone. So recently I decided to go a cheaper route... I ordered sample packs from both VapeWild and Vista Vapors. I did this because most of the juices I was buying I couldn't even taste the flavor to it.. With these sites you can add flavor boost to them which I'm guessing will help out a little bit in that department. If any of you guys have experience with these two let me know some feedback! Tracking says they should be here tomorrow so I'm really excited to try.. I have about 15-20 unused bottles laying around that I paid 30$ for and I don't use them simply because I can't taste them. This leads me to my second question and why I did not post in e-liquids question.. What exactly is "vapors tongue" I've heard the term loosely used and I'm almost positive I have it. My fiance will tell me mm this tastes good, while I on the other hand can't taste it at all. I brush 2-3x daily, use mouthwash at night, is this a real thing? and I noticed that the flavors I do like.. will lose their sense of flavor and smell to me after going through a 30 ml of it. Thanks for any feedbacks guy/gals!

Can't speak to VapeWild or Vista Vapors, but I hear you about so called 'premium juices' and their cost per ml. I've tried some of the most hyped premium juices on the market and have come to the conclusion that price is an indicator of nothing.
I have used VaporFi in the past and they offer the same thing as VapeWild etc. - extra flavor shots. I didn't find this helped in stopping vaper's tongue though.
It sounds like you might benefit most by dipping your toe into DIY if price is a factor. You'll save a bundle, especially if your flavor profiles are simple. You can start off with some simple flavor profiles that you like and have a rotation of three or so flavors. This will help combat 'vapor's tongue' which is a form of flavor fatigue whereby you can't taste/smell the flavor of a juice as much as you used to. It's definitely a real thing. I think everyone suffers from it at one time or other. I know I have, although I tend to find one juice and stick with it until I vape it into the ground i.e. I can't taste it anymore! Then I switch up, however if I were more diligent, I'd work in a few different juices to stop getting to that point in the first place. Vaping plain PG/VG or menthol is supposed to help vapour's tongue. I just panic and start digging through my box of liquids, sampling a little bit here and there until I hit on something that is satisfying and then after a few days or weeks I'll go back to my regular juice.

Yup I went through SO much of "Wacky Pony" by Juicy Ohms.. because it was the only thing I could taste, definitely a unique profile of flavors but tasted good to me and I could actually taste it! But I did the same thing your talking about, damn near vaped it to death, I couldn't take it anymore after going through about 120ml of it lol.. the thought of going back to menthol almost makes me sick to my stomach! I'd rather vape a plain vg/pg blend.. do they sell those online anywhere? Even the stench of cigarettes make me sick at this point seeing as I haven't had one in about 5 months.

look into Heathers Heavenly Vapes... Ive been using there juice for over 2 yrs now...
and, you can order the juice with extra flavor shots ( put the request in the special instructions box on the order page)

as far as vapor tounge... yes its real, when the body is subjected to a constant stimulus ( smell taste) the body shuts down the receptors to that chemical allowing the system to continue working... ever go somewhere where people work/live and the enviroment is "unpleasant" smell wise and wonder why/how they can stay there? they no longer smell the offending odor...

This is not about premium juices and their expensive price tag. This is about B and M shops thinking that they have the corner on the market and can charge ridiculous prices for the juice that they are selling. So what, 100Ml, is going to be 100$?
Ive bought juice from a B and M a few times, But only 1 time in the developed world. That time, They sold m on of their house juices, a blueberry cheesecake, for 10$ for 10Ml.
I figured, why not, I had had one blueberry cheesecake before, and it was delicious. This juice was horrendous. No... this is about the vape shops that charge outrageous prices because they think they can.

Tons of low cost juice providers out there, and many that sell their juice for cheap.
The one I have been in love with for a long while is mohawk vapors. (Google them.)
Same day shipping (Within hours you get a tracking number) And great flavors.... $30 for 120 ml!
all presteeped.

I've used Vape Wild before I started DIY.

I liked them but the flavor shot can be hit or miss. Some flavors darn near kill ya and others are just a wisp.

High dollar juice is a problem for me. I rarely buy it but when I do I hit it like a freight train on a Yugo. If its good to me. Some high end juice is awful to me. We are all different. My son loves the most famous and expensive juice out there and I think its disgusting.

I got a sample yesterday of something called Ebola and I'm not even gonna tell you how much of that I banged out. It was really good.

Simple solution to vapers tongue. Gari. It's a Japanese pickled ginger. To some it tastes disgusting but when you go to Sushi restaurants, they give you Gari with each meal for one simple reason, it's a pallet cleanser. I regularly eat Gari throughout the day as I've done since I was a kid because it promotes oral health. I have found though that I don't get vapers tongue. A few of my friends who've had it though have tried Gari to see if it works, and to them it does. Give it a try, it should help.

Simply, No

for the Tootle puffer, maybe they think it is worth it, but it is still silly
For the Heavy Vapor that could Hit $45 a day of more

People that complained about $6 Smokes not thinking twice about throwing down $30 on Designer e-liquids.
Designer? Come on, at best they are Well executed and consistent ,mixes. At worse, relabeled packaging.

A $30 mix has the Same volume as a $15 mix, that for many is just as satisfying.

Even that gets silly when you actually look at the minimal cost involved in product ingredients.

* Here is the good sales pitch. I started Vaping and wanted to Give Back.........

$30 bottles

I DIY @ under $3 and keep on keeping on :thumb:

Vapor's tongue is real and I was plagued with it when I first vaped multiple times and it blows. The worst was around 7 days straight of tasting nothing in juices. Drink a ton of water and try to change up your flavors..A LOT. I would rotate 7-10 tanks of different juices a day/all day. Even 2 years later, I always have 4-5 tanks of various flavors on rotation all day (one is unflavored, some tobaccos, some sweeter)

I tried every remedy out there and the only thing that helped was time. Some people get it, others don't and I'm not sure why.

I pay around $.30 a ml at my local store, and they'll do their best to make whatever flavor I ask for. They also have a bottle of all their base flavorings ready for dripping, so you can drip and match on the spot to come up with some good flavors. I just picked up a Peach Mango Lemonade today, mixed it in with another one we call Paradise Smoothie, and am currently in sweet fruit heaven. If juice there were any more expensive, I'm sure I would have switched to diy by now, but I definitely can't imagine paying $1 per ml.

When Liqua changed there formula of one of my favorites, I went DIY and never looked back. The only "Premium" juice I have in the house are freebies from here and on FB, and this last one I got, some sort of blue berry sweet bread ("Almost Famous"), has stuck around for a couple months now. Too much of it and it starts to taste like cough syrup.

If you can cook pancakes, you can do DIY.

Vapors tongue is when your sense of taste/smell gets 'burned out' from exposure to the same flavor for too long. When I started vaping that used to happen to me all the time. The best solution for me was to vape two or three setups with different flavors alternately.

In terms of name brand or pre-bottled juices, I find giantvapes to be a good place to get most. The prices are merely 'too expensive' (usually $22 per 30mil) compared to 'stupid-expensive' at a lot of other places. And the shipping is really fast.

I'm sort of done with the smaller vendors online. Heathers Heavenly Vapes I can't recommend anymore. They used to be my #1, but the quality has fallen off lately, and I've had some some bad experiences. Vape Wild has good customer service and selection, but I just don't care for their juice. It makes my throat hurt for some reason.

And because of stuff we aren't allowed to talk about here - I just assume that these smaller places are hit and miss on cleanliness and that has soured me. So sadly, I've gone back to the big pre-bottles now. For me it's worth the consistency and piece of mind at the moment.

We all need to look into DIY. What's wrong with us...

I find the markup on most juice pretty ridiculous. Let alone the really pricey ones. It costs close to nothing to DIY.
So no, I wont buy "Premium juice" even if it tastes like tiny rainbows melting in your mouth.
I may buy a more expansive flavor if I really like it, but half the time I vape unflavored with a little Menthol for a kick. This helps vapors tongue as well, btw.
