Do you guys use your e-cigs in public?

For all the hype I see about one of the selling points of e-cigs being that, since theres no second hand smoke, you can use them at work, in restaurants, etc., I never see anyone using them. Is there just not enough people that have them in my area, or are there other reasons?

EDIT: I guess I don't mean "in public" so much as "in places where smoking is banned"

I don't use mine outside. But i never smoked outside either.

I do. Have gotten only positive response so far.... I did see quite a few folks using them at the airports during Thanksgiving travel.

I do that all the time but it's true that I've only seen another couple of people using them in the open. I live in Italy by the way.

I think a lot of vapors (myself included) try to still respect others and vape in areas where smoking is allowed. If I am at one of my favorite watering holes..I will bust out my pv and vape away. I would do the same at a nice restaraunt or in a movie theater. That's just me though.

I work outside all day around other people's houses. I felt comfortable enough to smoke 2 packs a day while doing so, so I'm not going to hide my vaping either.

I don't vape where smoking or tobacco use is restricted, unless I've received permission from the ownership or management. Whether that's a business or another person's property, it doesn't matter.

I vape just about everywhere, including my office at work. My boss does not mind and the company does not currently have a policy against it.

I agree, I only vape in places where I used to smoke, since laws have changed I do ask permission if smoking is banned, never been turned away.

One thing I think we vapers need to keep in mind is common courtesy, even though we aren't smoking and poisoning the people around us, vaping can have a similar appearance. I try not to vape around children or in public areas where I feel someone might be highly offended, like a crowded line at the grocery store.

I do... sort of. I have yet to whip it out in Walmart or someplace like that. I do it in my car, in my house etc. I don't, however, do it around my 5-year old step son.

I vape pretty much everywhere smoking is allowed. I ask first in friend's houses or anywhere else I feel slightly uncertain.
At work I go outside on my breaks, though sometimes I'll have a few puffs in the break room. I actually like the little ritual to go outside and step away from it all anyways.
It isn't even remotely possible for me to vape while I work and accomplish anything or enjoy the vape. So that was never really a question for me, I just don't do it.

I should probably care more where I use mine, but I really don't.

I don't get a lot of flack if I pull mine out for a few quick puffs, but if I were more blatant about it, I think it'd be more of an issue.

More and more these days, trying to expose the community here to the healthier alternative that is e-cig (still hate the term associating it with the stinkies)/PV/ENDD (my personal favorite terminology so far).

I use mine walking around, driving, etc. There are some restaurants I can use it in, others I can't. All the bars here could care less.

So far I've seen one person on here from my area. I've not seen anybody else vaping while out though.

I did see a few people on my 3 week trip in October, but it was spotty sightings. I was shocked to see many places advertising e-liquid for sale though.

I vape everywhere. People sometimes ask me what that thing is and I just explain that this is how I quit smoking and people are happy for me. I will stealth it (hold the puff in longer to blow out less plumes) when in stores and places like that but people still see me doing it. I am a fan of trying to educate others about vaping and if they never see me they won't ever ask.

I Vape EVERYWHERE!!!! I am trying to get the word out to more and more people about Vaping and people ALWAYS ask what it is...so i explain and get some people to try it....creating more Vapers, More Sales for the small businesses trying to make a living

so YES i vape in Hotel lobbies, restaraunts, wal-mart, etc... anywhere i want

I vape everywhere I can. Some places still don't allow vaping like some restaurants. I have been known to stealth vape if that's really possible using a Silver Bullet

I do for the most part. Home, work( a few of us do ), car and outside. I have asked when eating lunch at a restaurant and they didn't mind either. I don't really do it in the stores though
