I agree with you pizzabrown, at first I did try to vape when I would normally have an analog, but as my mods got larger, more cumbersome, and decidedly more lightsaber-like, I've found I now have two distinct habits. But I've still cut down on cigarettes significantly, so that's a plus. Been thinking about grabbing an eroll to more closely replicate the coffin nail experience. But for now I vape at home and work, not so much in public. I'll get a few funny looks here and there at the office but generally people tend to either ignore it or ask a few questions about it, which I like to answer. vaping and vape gear are fun. Been VERY tempted to a few times at movies, but knowing my luck someone would complain and I'd get kicked out. Unfortunately awareness of e-cigs outside of current and ex-smokers is very low where I'm at, so people always look at me like I'm doing some illicit activity when I bust out my Twist and rebuildable genny. In their defense, it does look somewhat like some kind of pipe, but I digress.

I like to respect people around me, especially non-vapers. Ill vape outside all the time. I work from home so vaping there is a non issue. If out at a restaurant, I treat it like smoking. I dont want another analog smoker to see plumes of vapor coming from my table and light up and disturb others around them. Bars are a different story. If they allow smoking then all's fair. If not then I will ask the staff or management. Usually they are fine with it and I have had the chance to turn several other people onto vaping this way.

The only thing that changed was that I started vaping in my room. When I'm at work, I still go outside to vape as if I'm smoking a cigarette. I sort of used this as I was quitting as a way to make vaping as much like smoking analogues as possible. Did anyone else do this?
Vaping outside on my breaks at work really helped me feel like was replacing. A nice transition.

I used to do this too at my office, now that it's cold I'm happy to not have to freeze just to get a smoke. There's only a few of us in my office and all my coworkers are fine with me vaping in the office, a few occasions I've been caught by walk ins and sometimes people notice my eGo on my desk, so far all positive results (esp. from curious smokers).

I was worried at first about doing it in public but now I pretty much take it everywhere with me. I'll take a few puffs here and there but I don't go out of my way to draw attention.

I've vaped in crowded movie theaters (stealthily) and restaurants... so far no problems.

Most of the time, I like to stealth vape in public. Why draw attention to yourself in restaraunts or in line at the grocery store. I can conceal my old cigarette shaped battery set up better than my EGO, buts its still alot easier to be inconspicuous than real cigs. No more odor. If people do notice, I am more than happy to tell them about e-cigs and my success.

I vape where I feel comfortable, as I'm still under the impression that many public places do not allow it. I have been asked not to and even after explaining what it is, many places such as local coffee shops still do not permit vaping.

I have however noticed many people I go to school with vaping in class or in the halls, and I feel like that isn't necessary. I feel there are times and places to enjoy vaping, and school is not one of them. Or is this just me?
