I started with one of the premium vape starter kits, and I did it everywhere with only passing comments. I had one cop asked me what I was doing and we ended up talking about cigarettes for ten minutes before I got off.

I've vaped in a family restaurant bar after asking the bartender if it was OK to. They had no issues with it and I got some interested people come up to me and ask about it.

I find myself hesitant to vape in public. If I am at a bar/restaurant, I still go outside to vape if I can. Something about holding the same rituals i use with analogs helps me stay true to vaping whenever possible. I don't vape in stores or the mall, I guess the though has never really crossed my mind. I vape away in the car, although I certainly get constant funny looks from cars around me. Still waiting for the day the cop pulls me over and I roll down my window as a plume of vapor comes pouring out. That'll be a fun one. I have yet to fly since I started vaping, so I'm not sure how that will go. And I just don't have the balls for the movie theater vape yet. Maybe someday. At people's houses I tend to ask, and mostly they don't really care.

I've vaped in the theater too Wow I've vaped so many places and it's so normal to me that I hardly remember where I vape!

I vape in my office, and occasionally sneak a puff in the lift if I'm alone but never in a restaurant, cafe, or shop unless smoking is allowed.

This stuff is so new people see smoke coming out of your mouth they just assume it's a tobacco leaf product. I can't be bothered explaining myself so i dont do it.

here there are so many people vaping, that its almost normal to see people vaping at restaurants, bars and casino's. it also helps that most bar's and restaurants have a open area that connect inside to outside with seating so i just sit on the inside by the open area and vape away.

I vape everywhere! I am not obnoxious about it, certainly less obnoxious then nico nazi's. I don't try to hide it. The only time I get any stink eye is from the old generation when I eat at Spire's lol. Everyone else just takes a peek then goes back to what they are doing.

I vape just about everywhere, but I do it stealthy. I'm the only person I've ever seen vaping in public so I try to just blend in and follow simple social practice of not belching up clouds of smoke in places where it will freak people out. I'm also not as much of a zealot as some of you guys, and quickly get sick of having to explain the entire contraption and why it's great

I'm new to vaping, just got my kr808 from v4l, since mine looks sort-of like a cigarette I don't mind vaping in public, but I still get nervous when someone looks at me while I'm doing it.

I will vape indoors here in VA, where smoking is banned. Our wonderful, open-minded and intelligent Attorney General has specifically stated that PVs are NOT included in the indoor smoking ban. He has defined smoking as the use of a lighted tobacco product and intelligently pointed out in a letter that vaping requires no lighting of anything. If a business owner asks me to stop I will do so while attempting to explain everything but I do not go against their wishes.

OMG!!! I LOVE VIRGINIA! That is where I'm from and going home to see the family for the first time since I quit smoking (for the hundredth time). This time, I feel like I will be successful because of vaping. I'm always a little leary of doing it in public but I have. I printed that letter and will keep it handy to show to others. Just got an ego-T MOD with a Vivi Nova in the mail this week. I've only been vaping a little over a month now and already upgrading. Currently vaping Energy Cow mixed with a small amount of menthol ice. It's weird, I was NEVER a menthol smoker but I do love the slight hint of menthol in the flavors I vape. Can't get off the Energy Cow though, I love it so much! Thank you again for sharing that letter! I love this forum!

i stealth vape in public i purposely bought a 350mah ego bat so i can cup it over my hand and still reach the button. I dont see the point in having larger bats as this baby lasts me all day and it brings the whole assembly down to a sensible pocket size. Got another one in the post.

I ask, but must of the time I don't do it in "public" places. There is one cafe in my area (northern Indiana) where the owner has given us permission to sit, play board games, drink coffee and use our PVs... mostly, I think, because he is also a vaper.

At work, I was told not to do it inside because of the nicotine... because it was the president of the company, and people were complaining about "headaches", I didn't push the issue because I like the part where they give me money every week for being there.

I don't do it in places where smoking is banned, depending on how much vapour is produced it could be considered pretty anti-social. My attys tend to produce a lot of vapour quickly and I am sure it would make people feel uncomfortable.

I tend to vape everywhere I used to be able to smoke... Except for movie theaters, for some reason I love to vape at the movies

At home, instead of going out for a smoke, I now use my PV inside.
At work, I do use it at my desk, but only with the permission of those around me.
When I go out to eat, the movies, etc, I don't use it where I wouldn't be able to smoke. I just walk over to the smoking section and have a vape. Usually answer several minutes of questions
