Do you have to shake the ejuice before refilliing

I read some of the DYI posts and watched you tube on making ejuice and noticed that you have to mix the Pg/VG/Nicotene/Flavor
what happens when the bottle settles down for few days, is the liquid in it still blended and mixed together or do you have to shake it before refilling.

I always shake the bottle vigorously 50 times.

It needs to be shaken, though probably not 50 times. I only do it that much because until I replaced smoking with vaping, I would've gotten winded shaking something that much.

I shake my juice before refilling too, but I doubt you really have to. IMO juice stays mixed pretty well. I suspect you are vaping the same juice for a while, correct? If so, you may be starting to lose the ability to taste the flavor. Switching between a few flavors through the day can really help that.

i have been mixing my own for around a year. when i do it put all the parts in the 10 or 15 ML bottle get the cap on and shake it for about 10 minutes. then i let it sit in a dark cool (around 70 F) box for 1 day. every day i open the cardboard box and shake it. i do this for about a week. then the fluid is ready to use. i have never seen a fluid settle or separate after the initial 10 minute shake but i guess it could happen. i shake well before a refill because i worry about the nicotine being equally dispersed in the bottle. however i have NO PROOF that this could happen. but hey shaking does not hurt.. heat, cold and light can damage fluid. a good rule of thumb is if your to hot then your fluid is to hot. refrigerating fluid is also not a good idea never tried but that is what i hear. and when im not refilling a device all the bottles are in my travel case or card board box this prevents light from degrading your fluid.

Just make sure the cap is still on the bottle before you shake it. (Yes, I've watched someone shake the bottle AFTER removing the cap.)

Shake every time you start to fill a tank or cart, even if the color looks even. Blending occurs over days and sometimes weeks after a mixture is created. Steeping can occur at the vendor location or in your possession if you are shipped a bottle right after it's mixed.

I think the trip through the Post Office and its delivery vehicles is good for the mix, too. Shake, shake,shake. Bump, bump, bump!

What I worry most about is that bottle of 100mg nic base. It says "shake well before using" on the bottle. Maybe there is a message there!

I hardly ever shake my bottles. Then again. I chain vape and drip so I hardly ever set my bottles down.

I have never seen my juice separate. Even the old bottles on the shelf. Has anyone actually seen juice separate?

I give my bottle a little shake before refill. If the juice is freshly made like the juice I got from Mt Baker vapors, which had a really bad first taste, I took the juices and put them in a shaker I have at work for a couple of hours.

This is what I do before every refill. I've been told if you just shake normally, you'll create air bubbles, which you don't want.
