RDA Do you recommend Magma or Tugboat V2 for testing flavors?

Hey everyone!
I need a rda to test flavors and I think I've narrowed it down to the Magma clone or Tugboat V2 clone. My question to you guys is which one would you recommend? I want one that isn't too hard to rebuild, can easily be built in single coil mode, and of course the flavor is pretty good :D
Thanks for all the help!

I have both and I'd say go for the Tug Boat V2.

Thanks for the info! I was kind of leaning toward the Tugboat so I'll probably order that. One last question what size coil would you for a single coil build? 2.0 2.5 or 3.0mm? (I'm kind of new to rebuilding as you can probably tell :D)

I have both of these and I used the magma clone for several months before basically replacing it with the tugboat v2 clone.

The magma is capable of great flavor, but I don't like the airflow control on it which was either too tight or too airy depending on the hole selected. I drilled out the smallest holes in the ring which gave me a much better a feeling draw, but still not great. I could rarely dial in a balanced vape (walking the line between most possible flavor and too harsh). The main kicker was the leaking. I added an o ring above the airflow control and dremeled channels around the airflow holes, yet juice still would eventually weep out the sides.

The tugboat v2 has infinite airflow control and seems to have much less noticeable leaking, although I do notice some juice on the top of my mod whenever I remove it. The airflow is dialed down to 1/2 of one hole on each side for a 0.5 ohm dual coil build on a mech. Pretty happy with it so far, flavor is almost as good as the magma and I'm still really new to building on it.

A Stillair has the added feature of adjustable air so it might help with tailoring the air to juice ratio even more. And its a cinch to re wick in minutes, faster if you cut your cotton into ready made strips in prep for taste testing

My Stailair has become my go to atty for new juices and mixing and such just because its simple. Old tech, but simple.
