RDA Auth. Tugboat v2 Single Coil w/Slam Cap?

I've searched and searched to no avail. I have a single Clapton coil built out on my Tugboat v2 and want to buy the slam cap for increased flavor, but I keep seeing 'must have dual coil with slam cap'. Is this correct? And why the dual coil requirement? Thank you in advance for the replies.

I don't actually own one, but my money would be on the fact that the slam cap has holes on both sides of the cap and no way to shut off one side... I'm sure there are some people that are running the cap in single coil mode with the extra airflow...

Awesome! Thank you, I'll try it out. If it doesn't work out, I can always run dual coils heh.
