im interested in that pipette pump system too

I did a cursory investigation. Looks like it'd be a really nice way to go if you do a LOT of mixing or just have money to blow. But bang for the buck syringes look like a better fit for my personal DIY needs.

The cheap pumps seem to go for around $10 each and the glass pipettes are around $5 each.

I'm not a flavour chaser, I don't have loads of concentrates to add, the most I do now is two concentrates in a mix if that. I certainly don't make loads of juice. Way too Impatient! I Like an Easy life.:)

For me, disposable syringes are a false economy, can't be recycled they must be incinerated, here (UK) our councils snoop through our rubbish in order to Fine us for Not recycling properly and Not disposing of syringes -even if they don't have needles attached - in the 'correct' fashion ie Large Red Plastic Box with Sculls & Danger plastered all over it; Or placing our rubbish in the 'incorrect' bin. Crooks!!:glare:

I have the full set of pumps. I don't understand why eBay and Lab sites charge sooo much for these fillers, I got mine from a Marine & Reef Aquarium keeper for less than prices advertised elsewhere. I was intrigued when I first saw them.
Pipettes, I bought a mixed bag of Serological pipettes. Cheaper for Polypropylene or a little more for glass on eBay.
One hand operation, the filler has a wheel on it, draw up exactly what you need using thumb, press quick release trigger using finger, Bob's your uncle.

I start by mixing nic/vg/pg large bottle then transfer to small 15/ 7ml bottles then add flavours to each of those.
For me pipettes are easier to clean, less parts.
Easy to fill, bottle can't tip over, no balancing skills required. I'm clumsy.
No need to swap out with different syringes,
1 sml bowl vodka, 1 sml bowl warm distilled water, rinse once in each, wipe, start next flavour.
I don't have to phaff with the rubber thingies when they decide to stop drawing liquid and slide up the syringe without any suction at all. I have no idea why that happens to me. I'm not a fan those humongous needles either.

Whatever you choose to use, you needn't throw out syringes after One use, for the exact reasons stated by others.
I dunno, suppose it's just horses for courses but I haven't looked back once!:D
