I don't see myself quitting vaping ever. It's not the nicotine for me, but the act of vaping that provides the sense of relaxation that I need throughout the day. It's my "break time" or relaxing time. Even at 0mg I find myself just needing that moment to relax and enjoy the flavors, the vapor, and just sitting there vaping. :toast:

I quit smoking after 27 years, cold turkey, for 7 years. I started up again during a stressful time, saying I'd quit when the stressful situation was over. When the time came, I didn't really WANT to quit. Yes, it stunk; yes, it tasted horrible; but I actually enjoyed smoking and didn't want to give it up again. I work in the medical field, and I keep an eye on the research, and unless they find that vaping causes some crazy damage, I have no plans to quit. I don't mind the nicotine addiction...to me, it's no worse than people using caffeine (which I don't), and it actually does have some beneficial effects (regarding memory, focus, etc.). Just glad to be rid of the 1000s of chemicals that are in regular cigs.

Yes I will quit - I worked my way down from 16 mg to 3 mg and now alternating with a diluted amount (? mg or why-bother) over the past year (anniversary coming up April 9th one year without any analogs) and find that I when I lose my PV device around the house, it doesn't send me into panic mode. I do not want to be dependent on nicotine.

 rat

I doubt I'll quit vaping...but who knows...I may quit the nic but unlike smoking I actually enjoy vaping...my nic level however varies quite often anywhere from 0 to 36mg

plus vaping seems to take care of my sweet tooth so there's that bonus as well :) no smoking and less sweets :D

This is such a good question that I have been thinking about lately.

I love the fact that vaping is healthier and better than smoking in so many ways but I have been asking my self lately, didn't I start vaping to ditch the smokes so I could be free again? To not have to worry if I have everything with me at all times? To stop spending money on it? To not be in a bad mood if I forgot my stuff or have to be without it for a while?

I don't know if I'm going to trade one addiction for a healthier addiction or break free from it all yet.
