I know I smelled. When I use to go out for a smoke break whoever was in the elevator would make a comment. I actually don't mind the smell when someone is smoking cigs and love the smell of cigars. The last thing I want to turn into is one of those ppl who make faces and wave their hands.
I can tell if a smoker has been in the elevator in the last half-hour now. I'll never say a thing, though, because I was one of them for 40+ years. It was quite a revelation.
Here Here. I was in a car once and every time I leaned forward to say something, the young woman teacher in the front pulled up her jumper over her nose. At the time I thought somewhat angrily 'this is the height of rudeness' but now looking back I can forgive her, although at the time it made me feel like a bit of a leper. I stopped talking very much or didn't lean forward. Dazzer.
