Hello people, yes, I have a rant , it has been a couple of weeks since I had one so I was due.

Please VENDORS, you are killing me...tell the customer on your home page if you take american express...this is driving me insane. This should be the first thing you are told "how you can pay for the merchandise that we are selling"

This is a rampant problem...must I order something...give my billing address and shipping address and everything else and then when I go to the drop down, it tells me they do not take american express. How much would it cost them to place this on their homepage?

Just yesterday, someone mention DARK CITY VAPOR was giving out a 5ml bottle of juice with a purchase. I needed some boge 510 lr and they had them for i think 5.99 for a 5 pack. It is always nice when you get that little freebie with your purchase...makes you think they care which is always nice.

Then I look all around on their home page...there is no indication of what cards they accept...I said enough is enough and I left the site. Some people might say what is the big deal. Sure, if you have a MasterCard or visa, it is guaranteed almost that they accept those cards, but if all your cards are banged out like me and all I can use is the amex, I think you would be upset also.

Vendors, please, pay the 2 dollars and put this on your homepage...this way you will not lose customers like dark city vapor did yesterday.

On a good note, I ordered something from the diy shop on a Monday afternoon and received it on Wednesday morning. That is what I call service, not to mention the free pair of gloves and the pipette. BRAVO!

I'm ready for some of the snide remarks...I can take it.

No snide remark but maybe a temp solution till more site take your card. How about a prepaid visa card? That's what I use for all online purchases that way if the number gets hacked I can only loose the small amount I put on there for each purchase. Might work for you till you find a site you like that works for you.

Find a site that uses e-checks instead and you will be good to go.

Most sites I think have method of payments listed under "terms and conditions", which is usually located at the bottom of the home page.

Its actually ALOT higher. At my business we dont accept Discover or Amex for that exact reason. It almost doubles my monthly CC processing fees. Not to mention both card companies take a larger cut of each transaction. I dont think alot of people have any idea how much retailers pay out in CC processing.

Thanks, but I cannot do that for lack of funds, I have a debit MasterCard but there is only a 1.50 in my account...lol, therefore, I can only use the american express card at this moment. This is what vaping has done to me...I am out of control and out of money.

Yeah, you would think they could just post a little picture of the cards they accept. It's literally one line of code and a quick picture upload to the server. I could do it for them in 5 minutes.

Thanks...that is all I want...it's a bit disappointing because you cannot actually know until you go through the entire process at checkout.

I have the same gripe with sellers who don't ship to Canada, just say so somewhere please!
Sometimes I go through the whole order only to find out at checkout that they don't ship to Canada :/

Amex overcharges everyone, from any store (not just ecig stores), to the customer themselves. They may run themselves out of business, but for the extra high charges and raising customer interest rates, I'm surprised they are still rolling.

Can you go to any store that sells pre-paid credit cards and purchase one? It is much safer over the internet that way also. Just about all stores have them now, grocery stores, drug stores, department stores. Skip the "Vanilla Visa" that is the only one I have ever heard of problems with. There are tons of them available.

That is where the problem arises...we should not have to do that. This goes for any vendor in any business...I like american express because when there is a problem, they take care of it.

If you have a Walmart, CVS, Walgreens, etc.. near, you can pick up something there say toilet paper and a chocolate bar, then grab a prepaid card, charge those on the Amex. (If they take Amex.) Then you are good to go. You can even just pick up the prepaid and charge it on the Amex.

FYI...Phil does not like BWB, & I've seen you do like it. Probably not the best guy to follow, since you don't have the same taste in juice.
