Do you test all your stuff when it comes in by mail?

In a previous post, I referred to a 5-pack of attys that I held onto for a couple months and then when I needed them, found they were all junk. Bummer! So, do you test your supplies when you receive them to be sure they're ok? How about attys? Do you blow them each out and try vaping on them? If I'd done that, I might have gotten some satisfaction from the supplier. I'm curious about how other more experienced vapers approach this.

I test batteries but I usually order attys in bulk so I normally don't test them when received. I got burned with an order about six months ago, had 4 out of 10 that were DOA and it was too late to do anything about it as the warr had expired.

I always test any equipment as soon as it comes in.
I now use an 808 so all I need to do is test the batteries when I get them but when I used 510s or my pen styles I tried every atty or battery I received when I got it just in case because of the warranty issue.
Luckily they all worked as they should but I especially wanted to make sure with the attys as they were the most obvious thing that could have a manufacturing error.

Now that I got a multi-meter (not that I'm an expert w/ it either), I check for resistance on all atties & unloaded voltages on my manual batts (I don't do auto-batts) when I receive them, then store them for future use. When you order bulk it doesn't make too much sense to vape everything to see if its okay. JMO

Ditto on the use of a multi-meter for testing when supplies come in. I don't order in "bulk" but do keep spares for when things fail.

Yes, I test all of my atties and all of my cartomizers when I first receive them. I have only been vaping about 4 months, but due to my paranoia I have a pretty good stock of atties and cartomizers. Every one has been tested and put away.
I must be really lucky or something because out of the 100+ atties and 50 or so cartomizers I have not had one DoA. I am getting ready to order 100 of the 510 cartomizers because they are awesome so that will be a fun evening when they get here.

As a buyer and seller on e-Bay with over 1,000 total stars, I have a standard procedure when I get something in the mail.

I open the bottom or back of the package carefully with a knife keeping the address label and postage information intact. I then Completely test what ever it is that I have recieved.

If there is a problem, I contact the seller immediately. If it needs to be returned, it goes right back in the package with the original packing material and my address label goes over the original one.

I learned the hard way that USPS insurance for damaged goods requires that you present the package and All packing material to post office for review.

I've never made an insurance claim with the USPS so that's good to know.
