So I have been at this now for about a month and I really enjoy it. I think it is a win win, and one of those rare situations in life where you can really have your cake and vape it too. I get the nicotine, but no harmful cancer causing agents, yellow teeth, or premature aging. Plus, my car stays clean and my cat isnt being exposed to harmful toxins. My biggest fear now is that it wont last or take the general publics interest. I dont know why everyone wouldnt switch, but you never know. What do you all think? Is vaping the way of the future and is it here to stay?

We estimate that 25% of smokers will have switched by by 2025, or possibly sooner at 2020.

At some stage 50% are likely to switch, maybe even 60%. The reasoning behind this:

- It's growing at a phenomenal rate: 40% per year or more, currently.
- In Sweden, about 50% of smokers switched to their local-version pouched oral tobacco, called Snus.
- If half of smokers are willing to switch to oral tobacco, when given correct information about the relative risks, it seems logical that at least as many will switch to ecigs, in some countries.

The main problem as you can probably see is that tobacco tax revenues will fall through the floor. That means governments might try to make up the shortfall by taxing ecigs. There is no justification for doing so as the issues are about the same as for coffee - but that is unlikely to stop them.
