I have 4 devices going right now, each with a different flavor: A Vapeonly BCC, a Davide Aspire with Kanger BDC heads, a KF 3.1 and an eleaf BDC. I rotate them, and whenever 10 mls have been vaped I wash the head, toss it into alcohol where it stays until needed. Generally each clearo has 3 heads, that stay in the alcohol until I put in the last one, then they all get rinsed and back into the heads container. he KF just gets washed and dry burned, rebuilt when the vapor gets too weak or the silica looks burned, about every 20 days. I've had Vapeonly heads lasting me 7 months, not so lucky with the eleaf (already having dry hits after 1 month) and I still can't account for the Kanger head. But this setup enables me to lenghten the life of my heads, and many of my vaping group are starting to do the same.

Do you wash your heads regularly or vape them on until they die?

On my clearos, all Kanger style bottom single coils, I'll pull the head after two to four fills, depending on the juice. Take the chimney and flavor wicks out, dry burn. New flavor wick and reassemble. When the resistance creeps up to about 3 Ω, they go in the "to be rebuilt" bin and wait until I have enough to make the session worthwhile.

With my Kayfuns, unless I'm going to be changing flavors, I just refill until issues start - i.e. decreased flavor. Then I'll clean, dry burn the coil and replace the wick.

I rebuild Kangers with a silica wick, so I can dry burn, and cotton yarn for flavor wicks. KFs get cellucotton / rayon for wicking.

Ditto, except only Japanese organic cotton.

I haven't used a clearomizer for personal use in over a year. They were just too inconsistant and muted flavors compared to other juice delivery devices. I've moved on to rebuildable atomizers and rebuildable kayfun-style atomizers, and still occassionally use cartotanks.

Cartotanks had been my go-to delivery device for over two years because they gave me better flavor and were consistant in use.

Tried Genesis-style RBA tanks but gave up on them because they leaked if not kept upright, had to be tilted to wick, and I didn't like stainless steel mesh wicks.

Received a Kayfun Lite Plus and it was like a cartotank on steroids. Excellent flavor! Coils can last 6 - 8 weeks if dry-burned between wick changes, wick changes every few days.

Began using rebuildable drippers after the success of KFL+. I use these for home and the KFL+ for on the go. Wire and cotton is cheap and lasts forever, and its nice not having to spend money every couple of weeks on replacement coil heads or cartomizers. Not to mention that the flavor and vapor is incomparable.

I use Clearos 98% of the Time.

I have found if I Flush the Clearo out with Hot Tap Water at each Refill (or nearly so) that it Greatly Extends the Time before a Dry Burn is Needed.

No Need to Complete Dry it Out after Flushing. Just Shake, Blow, Refill and Go.

I'm lazy - I have a KF 3.1 that I hardly ever use (consistency issues - I know, user error!), a cartotank that I NEVER use (don't care for the flavor), and probably 10 or so Aro2, and a few old Evods. I use the clearos 99.9% of the time. I only change the heads once a week or so, don't always rinse after a tank is dry, and rebuild once a month or so.

For me, vaping has become like smoking. I hardly ever really think about it, just vape and go.

I used clearos for three months. I'd rinse the heads out when refilling and they'd last a good week or so at least, rotating 3 tanks at a time.
I upgraded to kayfun. I love it! Mostly using RDAs for the last 6 months or so because I rotate flavors several times a day and LOVE the flavor on my drippers with premium liquids (need to start DIY.....)
My coils last me a dozen tanks or so in my kayfun... I rewick and dry burn and rinse it out every other tank, and keep my favorite flavor in there for when dripping is not practical. I recoil WAY more often then I need to because I like building coils... I need to volunteer at a vape shop.. Lol
