I do outside in public and in my local grocery store. I'm usually in and out in 5-10 minutes so a hit or 2 here, no one has said a word. Even vaped while talking to the manager about stuff. Small cloud in between us, he just said it smelled good. I do get strange looks when I pull up to a red light and my car looks like Cheech and Chong

I typically only vape where analogs are permitted.
With a couple of exceptions... I would not ever use an analog in my house or car but I do vape there.
I am going out tonight to a little bar down the road and I will probably vape in there.
I know the owners and before they officially opened they were willing to let me have an analog in there. I declined and stepped outside.

I became so used to not smoking in most places, that I tend to follow the same rules as I did then. About the only places you can smoke in restaurants here in Oklahoma are special "smoking sections" or in the bar where it is sometimes allowed.

My hubby has COPD, so we never sat in those sections anyway. I always just had my meal and waited until we got outside on the way to the car to light up. That's what I do now with vaping.

I'm female, so spend some small amount of time (right!) in stores shopping. I couldn't ever smoke in stores or at the mall, so I don't vape there either.

Mainly, I guess I vape in the same way I used to smoke, certain places at certain times, mainly outdoors for the most part. And, of course, in my car all the time.

I understand that it's a touchy subject. I just don't advocate "poking the bear", so to speak. An all out vaping ban, like most states have with smoking would suck. I envision a day where there will be "vape friendly" establishments. I know there already are, but it's kind of an ask for permission or forgiveness type situation. An all out ban would mean you couldn't even vape in vape shops, many of which have already invested in very nice lounges. Vaping is much more of a hobby than smoking, and it's nice to have places where vapers can get together and share there hobby. Cigars were very similar, and in my state, cigars are banned everywhere that cigarettes are, even cigar shops. I see vaping going the same way.

I'm a libertarian. I don't believe in smoking bans. I think private businesses should be able to allow whatever legal activity they want in their establishment. It would be awesome to be able to vape everywhere, but as more people do it, it just isn't a realistic expectation in today's nanny state. People will become annoyed by it. People will have "allergies" to it, or claim they can't breathe around it. People aren't going to want to sit behind a guy in a restaurant that looks like Thomas the Tank Engine. They will have government impose their will on us. By being relatively respectful about it now, we don't even give those people a chance to really get up in arms about it, and as it catches on businesses will pop up that are vape friendly. We have vape shops around here that are basically a liquor license away from being a place that I would love to hang out in on a weekend night.

I only vape in places I used to before the smoking ban so bars and restaurants. Someone told me last night that Applebee's has banned ecigs but I don't go there anyway. I think the guy who told me was a little angry I was vaping but its a vape friendly establishment so...most places seem to be happy to allow vaping - it keeps customers inside and buying. I noticed my hangout was empty all winter because it was soo cold here and there are a lot of smokers who frequent the spot.

I actually don't have a problem unless I'm spending a substantial amount of time someplace. If I'm shopping for hours I might vape in the bathroom or something but usually I think we are trained to go awhile so I do.

I just have s no kid rule. I don't have kids and I don't want to be responsible for influencing them to do something not within their parents values.

I pretty much keep to the same habits I had with smoking. The only places I'll vape where it's usually prohibited is outside places like parks, outside seating at restaurants etc. I figure I can always wait if I'm stuck inside. One thing that I dislike is the vaping ban in my home (wife put that into place) but when she's away or sleeping I vape inside.

I have vaped in multiple public places that I know have no law against it. There has only been 1 city around me that just outlawed it in public places treating it like an analog. As far as dirty looks go I have maybe only gotten 1 or 2, after they do that I do the same thing I do to road ragers that drive like mad and get ...... or shoot you the bird while going by, first you smile real big then you give them the princess wave.

I was wondering if you had the guts to vape at a restaurant or mall or where ever, or would it just not be worth it because of the dirty looks and assumptions? I'm thinking of taking a few crafty vapes in the movies.

i only vape in my truck while driving in public. i don't like vape in school or walmart etc but i do all the time in my truck i vape in places where i would usually smoke so nothing different there.
