I puff on it anywhere and everywhere. Had someone ask me about it for the first time in a negative way today. I was in line at a Chinese restaurant today and the cashier questioned me about it. I told her it's not a cigarette so it is no harm to anyone at all. She just nodded at me and continued checking the people in front me through. I continued puffing as I waited to pay.

I prefer to take the polite, non confrontational aproch and usally leave vaping for home and while driving. I suppose I'm somewhat paranoid as plumes of peppermint vape stream out the drivers side car window I often think its only a matter of time before some police officer pulls me over to investigate. I know I'm not puffing illegal substances but realize It may look like I am.
I don't want to vape in peoples faces or in public places just because 'Im not smoking so its fine', all that's going to do is cause restrictions and bans and negative attention.
I do however encourage questions and invite conversation with people that want to know.

True story Tina. I was at Home Depot sitting in my truck and two older ladies pulled up next to me as I was vaping. I got the funniest looks from them. I hit my mechanical really hard, blew out a massive cloud, and started laughing like a lunatic. I couldn't help myself those old bats were staring at me and one even pointed her finger. Before they pulled off to claim another parking spot, I waved at them. Full of mischief, I yelled out."Ya want some." :D
But yeah OP, I do vape in public.

Sometimes. I don't do it if there are a lot of people that might inhale the vapor even though it's not cigarette smoke, they don't know what it is and people are afraid of the unknown. If it's at a bar and it's not packed I usually ask the bartender or staff if it's ok, and I will be discrete and not be blowing huge clouds lol. Basically try to be respectful of others (was the same way when I smoked) since they probably don't know what I'm exhaling.

I was wondering if you had the guts to vape at a restaurant or mall or where ever, or would it just not be worth it because of the dirty looks and assumptions? I'm thinking of taking a few crafty vapes in the movies.

I personally don't vape in public because I have a proven allergy to some juice ingredients (I am very allergic to citrus, and my wife has had to get rid of one juice because it bothered me) and am certain others may share that allergy or an allergy to something else flavoring my juice.

I am not sure what all allergies to food items may come into play with vaping, but I strongly suspect there are several which could be an issue.

Since I have had life threatening experiences from exposure to the right amount, type, etc. of citrus products, I have been very careful all of my life, perfumes, foods, etc. have let me know they are not happy with me, and I respect that LOL

At the movie theater, I will sit back row and vape freely until the movie starts. Restaurants I don't.

Was at the liquor store last night and the customer in front of me hit his dripper right at the counter and blew a massive cloud (apple jax, I had it pinned) right to the clerk's face. That's just douchey as all hell.. You spend 2 minutes or so in there, it can wait.

Imo, if your overly brazen with the public vaping, like said douche, your killing it for the rest of us. Just be courteous.

Side note, I work at a food place, and the No Smoking placards were recently replaced with new ones that read (including e-cigarettes) on the bottom.
