Be glad it wasn't the Asian variety. Not a bee but a yellow jacket is a wasp. This is the Asian Giant Hornet. These suckers are worse and don't stop. This is what the hornet missels shoudl have been named after. They will lock on you and stare you down.

Their persian army arrows blotted out the sun.

Couldn't have been much worse without dying.

Not that I'm looking forward to a rumble in the jungle with them, either. Quite the contrary.

Now I'm just jealous. When I'm in national parks my husband does not chase me in circles the way I wish he would. I want him to dress up like Harpo Marx and chase me in circles around the fire. He never smoked cigs much so he never got addicted the way I did. Now I can go hours without vaping but must have it with me or I panic! I have been vaping 0mg juice for a few years now ... I think. My addiction must be behavioral.

"Is that a vape in your pocket or are you just glad to see me?" We say that a lot around here, but it just doesn't sound right when he says it to me!!!

I have a place at the edge of Hawaii's Volcanoes Natl Park. After The Arizona Memorial at Pearl Harbor it's the second most visited spot in the state. This means for a tourist based economy, the experience of the guest is pretty darned high on the list. The Parks rules are online both inclusive of those from National headquarter which are applicable and those unique to this set of parks/environment. I've just carefully read the rules pertaining to smoking. They do include Ecigs and vaping
But were not amended following this. At this time it appears you aren't allowed to Vape in the buildings were you also can't smoke or within 20 feet of the entrances. One park location. Is entirely off limits for smoking and vaping except inside your vehicle. In the outdoors at large it seems allowed still.

I recently spent a few days in a National park in Ca. and vaped whenever I wanted, not one complaint from anybody, including park Rangers.
