And while it is not known precisely how safe they are, I conclude the following from my clinical experiences:
1) It is time for the National Institutes of Health to fund a large-scale study to determine if electronic cigarettes as a form of nicotine delivery help people stop smoking.

Why is a study needed to determine if ecigs as form of nic delivery help people to stop smoking? A quick cruise through ECF will answer that without spending a dime. What we need is some real science to determine what additional health risks vaping introduces, if any. We already have a pretty clear idea what health risks vaping minimizes/eliminates as compared to inhaling/breathing the byproducts of burning tobacco and the additives manufacturers include.
