Does 3-ml J-Tank accept the preslotted dual coils?

After watching and reading myriad reviews on the DCT MAP tank, Liquinator, and J-tank, I've pretty much decided on the J. [Does that stand for Jason, BTW?] But I want to confirm something before taking the plunge.

On the ElectronicStix website, the preslotted Boge cartomizers are recommended for the 3-ml tanks and the preslotted dual coils for the 5-ml tanks (out of stock).

3-ml is sufficient for me, but I prefer the dual coils ... and I don't own a dremel (and would probably make a mess of things even if I did).

Can the preslotted dual coils sold by ElectronicStix (which appear to be the longer "Mega"-sized) be used in the 3-ml tanks? [For example, it is the 5-ml version of the Liquinator that uses the Mega dual coils.]

And - if the answer to my question is "No" - can the preslotted non-Mega dual coils from that other supplier be used in the 3-ml J-Tank?

I would say no, the megas are wider than a regular sized cart, correct? If they are then they won't squeeze into the 3ml. It is designed for a regular cart to fit in snug. I have one and can't recommend it enough.

I have a mega somewhere at home so I can verify in a few hours if no one else does.

Edit.. I might be confusing the dual coil with the mega dual I bought at MadVapes. If there is a dual coil the same diameter as any other regular cart it'll work just fine. The thing I noticed with their recommended boge 2.0 and my preferred 1.7 low res is height. The boge cart fits the jtank slightly better. The 1.7 are a tad too short. Not enough to affect performance or stop me from using them though.

Kind of.

I am only interested in preslotted cartomizers ... and I prefer the dual coils. To my knowledge, there are three available:

• The one sold by ElectronicStix, which I assume is Mega length because of the photo on the site and the fact that it is recommended for the longer 5-ml Tank.

• The shorter one sold by Vaporescence for use with its 3-ml Tank.

• The Mega length sold by Vaporescence for use with its 5-ml Tank.

Will any of these work in the 3-ml J-Tank (the only one currently in stock)?

[Please know that it is not my intent to promote another supplier in this ElectronicStix forum. The J-Tank is clearly the more favorably reviewed dual coil tank.]

EDIT: Oops!! It's all moot. The 3-ml J-Tank is out of stock again (and the 5-ml continues to be).

Vapor Galaxy also sell J-tanks and they are still in stock.
Thats where I got mine. I love it. Have you seen the DCT MAP. It looks sweet in stainless.

I have both 3 and 5 ml J-tank. I will tell you that the DC Xl will fit into the 3ml tank with about 1/2 inch sticking out because the carto is longer. As far the slotted carto from Vaporescene, they are cut lower than the carto for J-tank so I don't think it will work unless you want the hassle of sliding the tank down to expose the slot.

DonDaBoomVape, The simple answer is YES, the XL dual coils (the ones you have pictured above) will fit. The MEGA 3.5ml dual coils will not.

The xl dc are same gurth as standard just longer more sticking out of the top is all.

Good to know that I can use the XL dual coils (of the same diameter) in the 3-ml tanks. I didn't expect to be able to use the fatter eGo mega dual coils.

We have also added our 5.5 ml fat tanks (same diameter as the omega/SB) they use the Boge cartos but can accept the duals if you dont mind them sticking out the top some.
