Well I was going to wait until I can upload attachments / url links.... I guess you have to post at least 15 posts before that happens?

No prob dude. I can wait till you post a few more. Im really interested in your process. It sounds like a great way to get around a common problem. Either drop me an IM or post a link in this thread to let us know where you posted it.

Here is the forum link -

That unit is one of many different mods I've built & I'll post more up later.

I don't get too detailed how the circuit is designed... but the one I use is a variable power supply meaning I can dial in the voltage/current and adjust the heat of my atomizer.... However you can use a simple wall wart ( Wall wart - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia) transformer. so long as it's between 4 - 5 watts... 4 watts gives a cool long smoke... 5 watts gives a lot of vapor but it can burn out the atomizer fast & waste fluid. To measure wattage of a transformer for example multiply the OUTPUT voltage by the amperage. For example a 5 volt 800ma adapter 5 x 0.800 is 4 watts while a 5 volt 1000ma 5 x 1.000 is 5 watts. Not all ratings on power supplies are going to be exact but they should be close... if it's too hot because you can't find the right one you can lower it using a resistor. But be careful going too much higher then 5w as you will burn out your heating coil in your atomizer. For example a 12volt 300-400ma adapter should work also so long as it's not under rated. The maxium work/power output for a transformer should not exceed 5-6 watts. And anything much under 3.8 - 4 watts won't produce any vapor.
