I was really excited when I learned about the E-Cigarette. So far I have tried the disposable No.7 full flavor, and the Direct E-Cig Light (5v). After I tried both of these products I feld kind of hopless becuase when I excale the vapor, barley any smoke comes out of my mouth that bland satisfies my craving, but does not really at all as far as actual smoking satisfaction, and after puffing very hard. Is there any brand that someone may suggest, that I am willing to try (e cig saves tons of money), that has a high voltage level or something, that is good enough, similar enough to a real cigarette?

Thank You Much,

If you want vapor, there are many choices that will give you lots of it. Try the Bloog Maxx Fusion or a Janty Ego for maximum vapor. There are also tons of mods that boost vapor (I am not a big mod fan, so I can't offer much advice about them. Disposables are great for trying out vaping, but they are not good indicators of what e cigs really are. One very good disposable is Apollo It tastes great, and it produces a good amount of vapor. It costs $11.95 and lasts for a few days.

Plus, if you inhale and hold the vapor in your lungs the vapor will magically disappear. We call it "stealth vaping" because you can get away with it in venues where smoking is prohibited.

Plus plus, if your cravings aren't being satisfied another question would be regarding your carts and/or e-liquid (if you have some). What mg nicotine are you using? Often, less reputable vendors will market their products as "low/medium/high"... but isn't that subjective? Most of us end up using 24mg e-liquid in order to drop the smokes.

If you were to refill your own carts, you could put any flavor e-liquid you like, and you could customize how much VG (one of the liquid bases they can use) -- the VG will give you more plumes of vapor.

and yes, you do need to take long slow inhales, not short hard puffs like a cigarette. Enjoy the experience.

Joye eGo-T starter kit with normal eGo batteries - Joye eGo-T starter kits Heaven Gifts Has an awesome price...I paid $90 for my Tornado T wich is the same exact thing...lol...the primer seems to taste bad for the first day or 2 but after that...its amazing...menthol is good...yummy

No 7 disposable is junk. I don't know what the Direct thing is but it looks like an RN4081. 5v battery? I doubt it. But RN4081 makes a nice amount of vapor with the right juices. BTW Direct's prices are a ripoff but not the worst I've seen.

Vapor is
1. a good PV
2. at least 10% VG in your ejuices and that means not the crap prefilled carts that come with most ecigs

Popular blends are 70pg/30vg, 80pg/20vg and some like 50/50

PG lets through more TH and is thinner
VG dull TH some but makes more visible vapor and is thicker

wait, this?
Direct E-Cig

here's their description:

1: 5 volt long life battery
(most batteries on the market today are 3.5 to 3.7 volts which have shorter charge times, shorter life spans and produce much less vapor)
1: Wall charger with cord
1: Atomizer
10: Cartridges in your choice of Full, Light, Ultra Light or No Nicotine. (all in one cartridge and disposable atomizer. 1 Cartridge is approximately equal to 1 pack of cigarettes)

For one thing, even if it is a 5v (don't think so, no way) you only get ONE battery?? I'm sorry to tell you but that's highway robbery. You can get TWO complete kits for that (with 2 batteries each, 2 atomizers each, a wall charger each, and carts) ... plus juice to refill it with.

I had the same issue with my stock 510. I was pretty discouraged and felt like I was "cheating"... relying on my analogs, even though I was going through a pack every three days instead of one per day.

I decided to take another shot at it and bought an Ego. It's ridiculously better! I also direct drip now. The battery lasts all day and the vapor with my RY4 is incredible.

You do have to change your style a little though. Instead of a short, strong drag from an analog, you have to do a longer, softer one. Let it all build up in your mouth and then inhale it. Bear in mind, a cheap ecig just won't cut it, regardless of your technique.

After finding my Ego, I haven't had another analog. I'm extremely satisfied to the point I've tried an analog or two and am pretty disgusted at the taste. I much prefer my RY4 to the taste of a "dirty ashtray" in my mouth.

I can honestly say, don't give up yet. I felt the same way up until a couple weeks ago. Spend a little money and get a good unit. Think about it... here, where I live, analogs are $8 a pack. How long does it take for you to make that back if you spend $50-70 on a well-designed e-cig? A week? It's well worth the investment!

Good luck!

Please don't buy anything else from that website. I know it's frustrating to keep having to shell out more money after more money -- I know because that's how most of us ended up here at ECF, wanting to know WHY!?!?

The good news is, you're here now and there are people here to help you out. The eGo is a good way to go, but if you want a versatile kit with a smaller looking e-cig in it I found this one today: it has the batteries, the atty's the carts, a charging case for on the go, and a usb cord and some juice. It'll work to restore your faith in e-cigs and will help you stick with it. It's only $50 (I know, I know, more money... but this is the one IF you want a smaller battery)
510 PCC KIT

----OR----

if you are just fed up and don't care if it looks like a slide whistle as long as it works, there's the riva510. For only $34, you get the bigger batteries, plus the atty's and the charger -- no juice though, but you can get some for cheap in the same basket.
Electronic Cigarette - Starter Kits - Riva 510

FYI: Riva510 is just a knock off of the eGo, it's just as good - no complaints yet that I have seen.

BTW, voltage has nothing to do with how long a battery will last. NOTHING!

1: Wall charger with cord
1: Atomizer
10: Cartridges in your choice of Full, Light, Ultra Light or No Nicotine. (all in one cartridge and disposable atomizer. 1 Cartridge is approximately equal to 1 pack of cigarettes)
Only in someone's dreams does a cartridge equal a full pack of cigarettes. The truth is, the cartridge is only going to last for as long as you can vape the darned thing. It may last 15 minutes or it might last a couple of hours. It all depends on how you vape and nothing else.

Wow. That's the biggest load of bunk false advertising I've seen in a while.

I know, me too.

I think the best thing I can say about this company is that their return policy does SEEM to include the dissatisfied customer (with very strict limitations). Here is the return policy:

If you decide our product is not for you simply give us a call at 888-217-9026 no later than 11:59 P.M. ET (Eastern Time) on or before the 14th day from your original order date. We will give you an RMA number to affix to the package. The RMA number has to be on the package, on the same side as the sending and receiving address. All components from the original package, in their original condition, must be included to receive a refund! Refunds will not be given on packages marked "Return To Sender" or returned without a valid RMA attached. Since we cannot re-use opened cartridges, we will deduct $7.50 per opened or missing cartridge. Any other missing or damaged/unusable components will be charged per our price list on the Products page located on DirectECig.com. All returned products must be sent postage prepaid and post marked within 3 days of a RMA being issued by Direct E-Cig to be considered for a refund. PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE IS A $10 RESTOCKING FEE ON ALL RETURNED PRODUCTS.

oops, maybe I spoke too soon...

the return policy says that must be contacted by phone "on or before the 14th day from your original order date", not the receipt of the product. So if they take 12 days to get the thing to you, you have 2 days to call them?

I believe that it's called highway robbery...

Highway robbery...

If you google direct e cig a whole page of nothing but "DO NOT BUY FROM DIRECT E CIG, THEY ARE A RIP OFF!". It seems that they have gotten many complaints. I saw RipOff.com on there and way too many to list. I really dont know whats behind all this I havent taken the time to read thru all the postings. Anyway it sounds like you might have been dealing with some inferior products. You might want to do some indepth research before you purchase your next ecig. If you dont believe some of these models put out the smoke watch a few You Tube videos showing some 5V. models, you will be convinced. Good luck, I hope you can find something you like soon. Try goolging direct ecigs are a scam. You will not believe the amount of complaints.
