Does anyone else feel as lost as I do?

I've been reading and reading and reading and it seems the more I read, the more confused I get :( There is a great deal to this vaping. I think that a newbie such as myself could spend (waste) a great deal of money on this venture if they aren't careful. I don't even understand all the parts to these things lol. I think the best thing about my kit is the eGo-T battery. Juices are really easy, I found a great place for those and I like the tastes of the ones that I've tried but, my problem, like I'm sure is the case for so many newbies is...what to buy, clearomizer, cartomizer, tank??? What cartomizers can go with the battery that I already have?

Don't get me wrong, I've learned a great deal since finding this wonderful forum, it's just so overwhelming at first I suppose. So much information, so many different kits and all the goodies that go with them.

How to choose, what is best for me. I like the VG based juice lol, that's about all I do know. I like my batteries, long life and fits well in my hand, I also like the button. The problem is, that isn't the part that gives me the vapors. I think, with all I've read, that it's the cartomizer that makes the biggest difference, how much vapor you get, how much flavor you get from your juice, how long they will last, how easy or difficult that are to fill. How reliable they are.

Yes, I think it's definitely the cartomizer that one chooses...I think lol :glare:

Everyone needs to find what works for them. You'll find people that rave about the vivi nova minis or stardusts. I tried them both and think they are junk. The Kanger T3 works incredibly well for me. The only way you're going to find out is to keep trying until you find a one that meets your needs. When you do find that sweet spot, stay there and don't be swayed by the latest and greatest or other people’s opinions.

So will the Kanger T3 fit my eGo-T 1100 mAH battery? lol

Yes, initially I was lost with all of the information, which is out there. However, after joining ECF, things got a small bit clearer and made a little more sense. Continue to read and learn. This place is an excellent resource for us new people.

Thank you so much, at least it's getting a bit better lol

The easiest delivery system is probably a clearomizer... I happen to love the iClear 30 and the iClear 16. They are easy to fill, and hold a lot of juice (the 30 holds 3.5ml of juice, enough for a full day)....

As ChipHead said, plenty of people love the Kanger T3. I've also heard great things about the Evod... a smaller tank that's rather inexpensive.

You can pick up Evod tanks for around $6.95, or the iClear 30's go for around $15, and replacement heads (the only part you'll need, once you own an iClear 30 tank) go for around $15 for 5 replacement heads. The heads should easily last you from one week to three weeks.

Go on YouTube, and do a search for Evod, iClear 30, Kanger T3.... there are PLENTY of video reviews that show you how the tanks work, how you refill them, and how the heads are replaced.

Then, order one or two types, and try them out. You'll eventually find one or two that work for you!

(There are also cartomizer tanks, but those are a little more complicated... you need to order the right size carto, punch holes, etc. etc. I'd suggest starting out with a Clearomizer)

Yes, I am planning my purchase for next weekend. I feel very lost. I did not know I was going to need a physics degree to quit smoking!!

There are many threads that have helped:
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...-vapors-bump-if-you-think-its-valuable-2.html

This has a link in one of the posts on how to "inhale" vapes also.

Trust me, you will LOVE it. I haven't even wanted a regular cigarette since I started vaping about 2 and a half weeks ago and I was a big time smoker. I am so happy that I have found this, I am breathing better and feeling better every single day.

You're in the right place. Read and absorb. Seems like a lot , really isn't. What works for me or others may not be your first choice.

For $80 you should be able to get everything you need for daily use and minimal maintenance. That's the cost of a week of analogs here. You're lucky already in having found a liquid vendor you like...

I linked you in your first thread that had a lot of all in one starter kit suggestions. Also many opinions on those..

Everyone feels lost and confused in the beginning. You'll also find out that some things that people love may not work for you and vice versa.

As far as cartos a single coil 1.7 ohm will work best on the ego. You can get a 3.5ml dual coil tank and get the 1.7ohm cartos for tanks. Good way to try cartos. The T3s in the lower ohms should work well and the Innokin Iclear 16 (they are small) or the Iclear 30 also work very well. I would see which of these you like best and go from there. You can do searches for each of these to get more specific information about each.

Keep reading, ask questions and do not get discouraged, it gets better and easier.

I think we all started that way SexySod (Oh! I like the way that looks!! LOL) There Is a lot of information here. And it does tend to be a pain diving through it all.

Personally, I would say to stick to what is working for you. If you start to notice that what you're using isn't doing what you think you want anymore, you need to move on.

Since you're using eGo batteries, you should know that just about anything saying it's ego, 510 or ego/510 threaded, can fit on your battery. That's always a good thing to know. After that.. the sky is the limit.

I use cartomizers and tanks. There are hundreds of types. If you can, find a B&M (Actual store) in your area and see what they have to offer. If you can't well, there are Smoktech and Boge cartomizers that are the most popular. Order a couple of each and try them out!

Hi There, I am not going to give you advice on what or what not to purchase. The forum is filled with it and you indicated you might be on info overload :)

Take it slow. Order small amounts of e-juice and small quantities of products (atty's, tanks, carts, etc). Test them out and if you like them, you can always order more.

It is easy to get caught up in the newest-latest-greatest thingamajig to hit the e-cig market. What's the rush? If it is really as good as they say or think it is, it will get a lot of press here in the forum. Slow down, read, analyze, look at how long it has been on the market. I've observed that sometimes a person will get something new in the morning mail and by noon they are writing about how great it is and everyone should order one by midnight because they are going to sell out fast. Really? It might be great coming out of the mail box, but some of us are more interested in how it is doing after they've used it for a couple weeks.

Take it slow. Spend your vaping budget as wisely as you can. You will make some mistakes. You will make some fabulous decisions. We all have been there and done that :) It is part of the learning process. This learning process is what enables the great members of this forum to share first hand experiences of the good-the bad-and the-ugly. You have just embarked on the vaping journey and soon you will be sharing your experiences too!

Remember what is one person's perfect vape experience, is another's so-so experience, and yet another's horrible experience. Guess that is why there are so many choices when it comes to devices and e-juices.

Hang in there, keep reading and asking questions. You are doing just fine.
Happy Vaping,
Paula

Thank you so much everyone. Paula, you are right, I will definitely try out a few different cartomizers and find the one I like the best, the one that works best for me, not anyone else. I hope that someday I will be able to give advice to people and help someone in my shoes as you have all helped me, thank you all so much. I will continue looking and listening to everyone's advice, those who have been doing this so much longer than myself.

The one thing I do know, I love vaping, it's amazing and as I said, I feel like a whole new person now and the freedom is incredible. :) Thanks again to you all.
