I just got this to hopefully replace my IPV Mini (standard 30w version, not the upgraded 70w version) and I find it to feel cheap and the fire button is flimsy. The thing is light and feeling...cheap.

To replace the battery I need to remove bottom plate utilizing an all key that came with the battery. On my IPV Mini, I just unscrew a cap using my hands. On the IPV Mini, I can replace the battery in 10 seconds. The M50 it takes 2 minutes. I use a Nitcore D2 with 5 batteries total so I swap batteries out a lot as I chain vape like a fiend with my Atlantis with 5mL tank.

The biggest deal breaker is I was vaping the m50 at 40 watts on my Atlantis and the battery reaches 50% and it automatically cuts my wattage in half. ...? The IPV mini stays on 30W until the battery is fully drained. How can I make the m50 vape at full watts until the battery is dead? I don't like the thing killing my output power.

I may end up selling this thing, but I am just curious.

The IPV Mini may be a tad larger, but it feels more solid and the fire button is 10x better then the cheap button of the m50. I may not buy another smok product again. Never felt such a cheap battery.

IMHO I would not drain my batteries all the way down even on a regulated device. I use my IPV3 until the batteries are at 60% and then charge, keeps them running longer and stronger. I understand the frustration with cutting the wattage it has, maybe just take that as your swapping time.

Thank you for giving the heads up on the M50 because I was really considering buying one..
Sorry that you are disappointed..
Vape on!

If I did this, I would be swapping batteries 3-4 times a day LOL

I'll post pics and show you why I don't like it compared to even the istick. This thing feels cheaper then the istick which is sad. I really don't like it.

I've had my IPV Mini for months now and the batteries I am using are still going strong (efest 18650 2500mah batteries).

Sounds like the IPV Mini has everything you like!

This thing is built like a tank and honestly you can swap batteries in 10 seconds flat. The fire button on this thing is so solid. My only complaint is the paint rubs off easily but that's easily solved with a vinyl skin. At first I hated the IPV mini, but now I am in love with it. I may sell the m50 and get the upgraded ipv mini 70w version.

I ordered the Smok Xpro 65 watt. Should be in the mail today; it has passthrough and word on the street is thing thing charges pretty dang fast..like REALLY fast.

Once you put a battery in it just say goodbye to swapping batteries out and charge it via usb, it should take about 40 minutes to fully charge the battery and you can vape away while doing so. I too am wondering if their is a way to turn the battery saving function off the mod BUT you can also switch this mod into mech mode which will allow you to simply run it off the battery and put a lower resistance atty on it below the 0.2 ohm standard. In the packaging it comes with two spare silicon buttons so thats another plus with this upgraded mod.

Guys this thing is a tiny 65 watt powerhouse of a mod. You can't always get every little thing you wish for when it comes to these things but for $48 I got this thing and I think that is a great deal for this mod. I can't really say more about it because I don't offically have it in my hands yet but any gripes or pains I have with it I will keep posted on the forum.
