Hi there,
I recently acquired a socialites e-cig from a friend who didn't want it anymore, but I have nothing but the cig and charger so I know nothing about how things should work without a manual and the socialites website tells you very little.

A few moments ago the light turned yellow... is that a charge thing? I assumed it may be so I put it on charge and on the plug, both the green and red light are on and there is a red light on the unit that is connected to the battery... again is this normal? Does it mean that it charging? I have no idea what lights should and shouldn't be on.

Battery Maintenance and Tips
When the initial charge is used up, charge the battery, until the light turns green on your charger (this takes between 40mins & 2 hours).
What model do you have? You should be able to find it on that site I linked.

I honestly don't know, I got it from a friend who didn't have the box and stuff still. There is nothing on the battery unit that suggests the model.

I'm a total noob to this so I don't know what a cartomizer is. Haven't came across that name yet. I think these are disposable clearomizers but I can't be sure really.

Just had a look at the Socialite web site - it took 5 minutes just to load a page! Sheesh.
Anyhoo - Have you got one of the Powerbank chargers that they sell and are you using that? They have (they say) 4 charging lights.
That would explain all the flashing lights. Most people use the small usb chargers that light red while charging (may flash green every 5 secs or so) and the light turns green when the battery is fully charged.

Throw it away or keep what is useable.

Do not visit socialites, ever. Total rip off. Those tanks are £9.99 for two on socialites. I buy them for 80p each.

The battery will charge the same as all other eGos. I actually bought a kit that is better than their £29.99 kit for £5.99 the other day.

We need to run these shysters out of business. :(
