I wanted to spend some money on a nice rda, possibly a in'ax dripper or a origen dripper, and then I came across the Hyon Pugio. I haven't heard of this in the past and was hoping someone here has experience with it.

So, is it worth the splurge? Is the $150 price tag justify the quality of the machining as well as the vape?

Let me know what you think and if you can suggest another high end rda, that I should be researching, that would be awesome!

I have the pugio, I have only built a couple builds on it but so far it's nice. It's not a super sub-ohm rda, I have had good success around 0.3-0.5 ohms. As for other rda's to check out, I like the Kennedy 24 (24mm) better than the pugio (so far). This thing is a beast, I have it on a mod that's about 25mm diameter and it looks great too.

I really have to spend a little more time with the pugio. I'll get a solid build in it and take some pics for you, if you'd like.

I wanna chime in on the 24, by far the best atty I have every used and you name it I've probably used it (Velocity, Aelous v2 Pro etc). The atty is extremely well build and looks amazing on boxes and 24mm mechs. The flavor is amazing and it checks great clouds. I've run quad coil set ups in the 24 and it hardly gets hot and the drip tip (SS) stays nice and cool. Get the 24 and use that extra cash to get a cerakote tip to match your mod. I can't recommend the 24 enough.

The Pugio can be a super subohm RDA, it's definitely built to be able to handle thick builds. With Hyon's quality, it'll be able to handle low subohm builds. The way you can just drop the coils in and adjust the center post & move the airflow look awesome. It can chuck clouds but it's definitely built for more flavor & thick/complex builds with the way the posts are slotted.
