i love my MVP.. it's become my go-to device. the battery last for at least 2-3 days with constant use

I got 6 days out of mine because I was switching back and forth between mods

i use my evic if for some reason I need to check ohms.. but I pretty much know what devices have what ohms and you can always figure it out by playing with the volts until the juice tastes good lol

for the money spent It's deff worth getting one to have.

here's my new jwrap on it:

I've had the MVP for a couple of weeks and I've found it perfect for my needs. I love the inbuilt battery, I don't have to carry batteries and a charger if I'm going away for a while. It does have a couple of weak points though. Apparently the charging port is pretty fragile, I've had no issues with mine, but I'm fairly gentle when plugging in for a recharge. The beauty ring at the top actually pulls the 510 connection out of the device if over tightened, so you need to keep an eye on this and push the connection back down if you notice any movement.

I've had better luck just using the ring from the Protank..

the stock one just seems loose and doesn't look as good imo

I just got my MVP today (technically, yesterday). I'm trying to use it until it dies (I like to kill the factory connection in ecig batteries before charging them for the first time, charge until green + six hours), but this thing will not die! I love it.

I'm just curious, why do you do this? It seems to run counter to everything I've ever read about batteries ...

I read a tutorial when I got my first ego set up. Every one said to leave the ecig battery on the charger the first time for six hours after the charge was up (not sure why, but I figured it couldn't hurt). I put one ego on the charger right out of the box. The other I smoked the factory charge out and then charged it. Fast forwarf a year or so later...The one I smoked before charging the first time still has a good charge on it. The other one lasts maybe an hour. Plus I don't charge any ecig battery until it's dead either. It may just be that one battery sucks and the other doesn't suck as much (they're 650 mah egos, so they suck; one just sucks less). It's just a personal preference. They told me to do it when I bought the kit at the B&M here, so I looked it up. Opinions varied on how to handle a first charge and when to do it. It's just my habit, I guess.

I give it a full charge till the light goes out. Charge every day at night.

Once a month I let it die totally. It's good for the calibration.

Lithium-Poly batteries, contrary to some beliefs, still do have memory. If you never run them down all the way before recharging (short-cycling) they will lose capacity over time. The same can be said for leaving them fully charged for extended periods. If I'm not going to use them for a while I draw them down to their nominal rated voltage (3.7v) first. I also never run them down below 3.4-3.5v. Over discharging can harm battery life as well. There is lots of data regarding this if you read up on Li-Po batteries for remote controlled vehicles. Remember Li-Po (Lithium-Polymer) packs like in the MVP, Darwin, cellphones etc are different from Li-CoO (Lithium Cobalt Oxide), IMR (Lithium Manganese) or Li-FePo (Lithium Iron Phoshate) batteries. They use a polymer substrate instead of a liquid to activate the reaction that stores the electrical power.
