Got a kayfun clone and trident clone on order from FT. It's gonna be a while til they arrive fancy something cheap and functional to play with while I wait for my Chinese goody's to arrive ,
If it makes a difference, I like airy draw and 32ga kanthal with cotton wick.
I've found an AGA-T for just under 20 notes - anyone have/used to have one that can tell me if they're alright?

I have an Aga but cant shed much light on it as i am rubbish at making coils so havent got the best out of it yet, but plenty of people have and really rate them. On the couple of occassions that i have managed to get it going properly the taste has been a lot better than what i have come to expect from protanks, cartos, etc so well worth getting one. Get the Aga T2 though as it has a glass tank and the earlier versions use polycarbonate.

There are no doubt loads more, but the links below all sell a selection of good RBAs/RDAs

Alba Vapours
Cloud 9 Vaping - electronic cigarettes, e-liquid & e-smoking supplies
Vapist

I have used Cloud 9 and Vapists and always been quick good service from them. I havent used Alba, but know of people that have and that rate them.

Cheers Codz, I was looking at the Aga T2 last night, it didn't say if it were single or dual coils though, I've got good consistency now with singles in the PT, but I'm not confident that I could pull off dual coils yet.
I ended up ordering the Rocket and a V12 RDA from FT when I cancelled the svoemesto as the V12 says it's single coil, itching for a RBA ASAP though so I can tinker properly, plus I broke my PT so might aswell replace with an RBA.

The Aga is a single coil and the way it's set up I'm almost certain that it wouldnt be possible to set it up with a dual coil :)

If you were looking for a quick purchase of an RBA then something like the igo-l would be good. They are cheap, you can get them in most b&m stores if you live near any? and i think vapeescape may do them although im not sure. They are a dripper though, so if you were wanting a tank style one then the aga is your best bet for now :)

I just got the trident clone from FT a couple of days ago and it came with dual coils which arent great. I havent had time to set it up with a decent single coil on yet, but from what Terry tells me they are excellent :)

I'm gonna grab an Aga, ta Codz.
I was tempted by the Trident but noticed it said ships in 7 days so will wait til they actually have them ready to ship so I'm not waiting and waiting like with the svoemesto!

I'm new to genesis type attys and I have a 3 aga-t2s and 1 rsst and 1 did and have got it of to a t buy doing it like this first you want to get some 400-500 ss/steel mesh some 2-2.5 a1 kanthal wire or kanthal ribbon wire any will do the job a cotton bud pull the cotton of the ends or a cocktail stick and your vamo and make sure its on it lowest vv/vw .cut yourself a piece of ss/mesh 20mm x 45mmthen roll it until it fits in the wick hole when done burn it untill it glows orange with a lighter or cooker do this 3-4 times then set aside then get your wire leave yourself a tail about a couple of cm long and wrap the wire around the cotton bud or cocktail stick 4-5 times making sure all your coil spacers are the same distance apart leave yourself a tail a couple of cm long when done slide the cocktail stick or cotton bud into the wick hole while the wire is still wrapped around it then undo the posi screw nearest the wick hole and put the bottom tail under it and tighten until tight then the top tail goes under the top screw on the centre pole then tighten down once that's done you can test you coil ohm if you have a ohm meter or vamo will do if not it don't really matter once that's done slide your cocktail stick or cotton bud out of the coil then slowly slide your ss/mesh you rolled through the coil if its to big just roll it a bit more until it goes through the coil into the tank once you done that just pulse it 2-3 times to make sure its glowing evenly and there are no hot spots if there is just adjust the coil so until hot spots are gone then remove the filler screw fill up your tank and wet the top of the wick then pulse again to make sure its giving of a good vapour if so that's it your done then just adjust the vv/vw to your taste I normally up the vv/vw until it starts to glow while its wet the knock it back 1 or 2 vv/vw until it stops glowing and is just giving loads of vapour off it run with these suitable voltage to different resistance it acts as a starting point 1.7-1.9 ohm = 3.1-3.4 volts 2.1-2.3 ohm = 3.5-3.8 volts 2.4-2.6 ohm = 3.9-4.2 volts 2.6-3.0 ohm = 4.3-4.7 volts I hope this helps you like it did me using the cocktail stick or cotton bud just means you can make a really nice tight coil and 9 times out of ten they work great without having to keep messing with coil
