Does anyone use a dna 20, provari or VV with their rebuildable?

I think the ProVari is picky, yes, but it's a good kind of picky if that makes sense. I build my Genesis attys at about 1.0-1.2 ohms (which is the lowest ProVari will take) and sometimes it'll vape fine and then I'll pick it up in 5 minutes and get E1 errors. I don't get that from anything else I throw on top.

I don't understand.. are you sure you're not getting a short? I don't know if you're using any other regulated gear, but that doesn't make any sense.

I always use RDAs wrapped at 1.5-2.0 ohms of 30 gauge on my Vamos for tasting my diy mixes, it allows me to see what wattage a mix tastes best at, then I wrap coils for my tanks accordingly.
So as long as you wrap your coils in the proper ohm range for your device, it wont matter if you use it on a fixed voltage, a mech, or a VV/VW device.

Yeah. I know what's happening though. The coils I've been aiming for lately have been right on at 1 ohm. I think when I fire the mod it drops the resistance just a tiny bit, enough for it to fuss. You can hear the coils start to vaporize then it cuts out. I confirmed this by checking the resistance with the actual mod (it fires it to monitor any changes) and it does drop to .9. I just need to wrap them a little higher, but 1 seems to be my sweet spot on them, so if I feel like using one I'll just throw it on a mech.
