I think 5 wraps is too few... I usually do about 8-10 with 28g wire... What is the ohms on that 5 wrap 30g?

It all depends on what kind of mod you are going to be using. If you're planning on using a mechanical, then .8 to 1.1 ohms of resistance is awesome. (A 5 wrap of 28 gauge will get you there usually.) If you are using a variable wattage mod that goes up to 20 watts (and the appropriate battery of course), then higher resistances are fantastic.

Will you marry me?

I just tried wrapping my micro coil on a 1/8 drill tip instead of a 5/64. This enabled me to feed a much larger piece of cotton through my coil. I am producing absolutely amazing clouds of great tasting vapor - almost double what I was before.

Ingredients to this delicious recipe:
28 gauge Kanthal round wire - 5 wraps on a 1/8 drill tip - heat and squeeze till all coils meet = 1.1 ohms resistance
CVS sterile rolled cotton
Trident RDA on a mechanical mod with a fresh AW IMR 18650 battery

Bon Apetite!

I'm definitely going to try out the video tomorrow when i pick up some more wire. I don't have a drill bit laying around, but do you think a q_tip is about the same size?
