does banana cream pie need to steep?

got it thursday tried it saturday without really any steeping and it taste like fried dog ....... nothing resembling a banana cream pie at all. i could taste a really tart banana flavor but that was about it. i was just wondering if someone has tried it? is this one that requires a substantial steeping time?

From what I can tell so far with juices, I think most with a cream flavor need to steep a good week minimum for the flavor to pop. I'm also noticing that with coffee flavor as well.

Don't just leave it out. It will be way more effective if you put it in a dark space. Jewelry box, back of the closet, etc.

i keep them in a shoe box with the lid closed. i have heard that a cool dark place is best also

We always recommend that all juices be allowed to steep.
