Take a CE2. You have the wires on the center pole and the bottom outer shell. At the top, the coil is between the two wires. Now, we can ohm out the atty while it's dry and get a reading across the coil, But.. when you fill it with e-juice which should have some type of continuity, you somehow do not create a short - (both the wire on the center pole and the wire connected to the bottom of the outer shell are submersed in this same liquid) But would this be enough to change the resistance and thus effect true resistance at the the coil? It would seem so to me (I wouldn't think e-juice is very dielectric) but if anyone has a better idea, I'd like to hear it.

...an opinion only...first, juice would havvta be salty to be conductive...pure water is not a particularly conductive medium...add salt and it goes off the scale...if juice had any effect, it would be to show as a short or to lower the resistance...this is my opinion only as I have no proofs to offer......
