Does e-liquid stink up the place?

Northern NJ native , Coastal NC now.
Well in that case, perhaps it's time to share some of those unused bottles?

And I'm sorry for you friend, but if he's such a sissy that he lets a girl beat him up I guess he had it coming. Or idk, some folks enjoy that sort of stuff or so I've heard, perhaps he's just a big old masochist?

Oh he's no sissy , see the below pic , but no man has a chance against a woman who requests milk and then the man forgets , if that happens your as good as dead .

This is a well known fact , thats why it's exceptionally rare for men to ever forget milk these days , many carry a small electric cooler or small fridge filled with milk in the back of their vehicles to prevent severe injury and a potential fatality .

@OP. I hope you get your problem resolved. Whatever vendor sold you that eliquid should be ashamed. It seems clear that most of you have never smelled nic when it has gotten old or gone bad. When you do, you will never forget what it smells like.

I hope your friend realizes that you had no control over this. I would just have him send the hardware because if he tries to send the ejuice, the smell will alert anyone near it and it won't make it to you.

I can tell you that 555 from MBV smells like a room full of dead ferrets. It is powerful. It will certainly stink up a room so your friend is not exaggerating.

OMG, dead ferrets! The USA blend only smelled like fermented dog poop.

Im glad I stuck with this thread even though it seemed futile at first... because there would surely have been suspicions of exaggeration on my part. But judging from the above responses, I feel a little vindicated. Although now Im actually worried about vaping something that smells so foul.

Funny thing is, when I spoke to the folks at MBV, the lady tried to turn my complaint about the rotten smell into a product benefit…"oh, that happens, because we mix all our liquids fresh"

So there seem to be two possibilities: the inherent foul smell of certain flavours (tobacco based, mainly) and/or stale nicotine. If it was the latter, there would probably be a lot of people reporting it here, no matter what flavour they purchased. So I have to assume it is just some specific flavours that smell like sh**!

You are right in saying that this one stinky component could put the entire consignment at risk…so we have already decided to isolate it like nuclear waste. It has been wrapped in multiple layers of cling film and put into two ziplock bags.

What a drama! Granted I should have researched the smell factor in greater depth, but in all my reading here, the topic never seems to have come up. I am very mindful of inconveniencing buddies who do me such big favors…and this episode has made me look like a bit of a tool who imposes a little too much on friends.

So…despite MBV's attractive prices, I don't think I will ever have the courage to purchase liquids from them again.

Well, I do wish you good luck. Please let us know when/if it arrives. I would be willing to bet(if I were a gambler) that even if you do receive the eliquid, you won't vape it.

I really do not know what to think. I have followed this post from the beginning.
I understand some peoples sense of smell is more refined than another's.
I get that. What I don't understand is why anyone I know nor my self has ever
encountered this predicament.
I have visited many vape stores. I have ordered many things from the net. Not once
have I ever smelled anything close to being foul if I in fact smelled anything at all.
Nor has anyone I know ever mentioned a smell.
IMHO it seems to me a lot of people have misconstrued a strange unknown
smell and automatically associate it with a gross smell. I suspect that until
you have grown up in the poorest neighborhood, worked as a janitor at an
international airport, worked as a dishwasher at more than a few greasy spoon
diners and,did a stint at a hide tanning factory, your classification of smells may not
correctly categorize a true picture of what is actually being experienced.
You are not required to like it. You are also not required to dislike it.
One need not attach a emotional response when not warranted.
Regards
Mike
