Does higher priced ecigs equal better quality

NO higher prices does not mean anything in this industry. I bought a piece of junk ecig (Green Smoke) for what 2 mods cost me.

What's important, battery strength, connection type......You can buy a great starter kit for under $65 bucks

As the posters above said, higher price does not guarantee better quality. Do your research here and see the types of products that people are keen of in your price range. It's a steep learning curve but you will be an expert in no time if you do your reading.

While there is always a measure of truth behind "you get what you pay for" you do have to be an informed consumer. I don't think anyone can say that they have never made at least one purchase they felt they made a mistake on. So as others have said research and educate your self and you can minimize your chance of buying overpriced sub-par items

there is allot of junk out there that cost allot...also allot of good mods with high prices. Quality mods will cost you some cash as well, but are worth it, GLV & Provari!!..

while eliquid can easily fit into the "you get what you pay for" category, ecigs/mods do not. Most of the big name cigarette replicas are way overpriced because the people they sell to are too intrigued by their ad campaign to look into different products. As for mods it takes a bit of research to find what you may consider best for you. Some $200+ mods may be great for some people while others are just looking for something that delivers the satisfaction.

I spent $150 on my first starter kit and it was a pos. Icould have bought 2 really nice mods for that price or that ultramax I have my eye on

I spent $40 on my first starter kit - actually it is the only pv I have bought so far. It is a 650mah 510 style ego - came with 2 batts and two atty's - 4mths and everything is still going strong. When my 1st atty dies I am looking to upgrade to either cartos of those new C atty's - have not made the decision yet. Is mine the best - maybe not - mediocre vapor - flavor is there, but not great, but I get my nicotine and I have minimized my analogs to a couple a day.

added: I do not vape for that wow experience.

I switched to vaping to reduce cost and improve my health. I am getting both. What more could I ask for?

Throw that atty away and screw in a fresh one. The flavor will be better.

"You get what you pay for" is not something you can live by in the world of vaping. But don't take that to mean that all high priced products are bad.

There are cheap products that are great, and cheap products that are very bad. There are expensive products that are great, and there are expensive products that are not worth the money. Buying a new product online is always a bit of a gamble, seeing as how you can't try it before you buy it.

The key to minimizing your chances of getting a stinker is research--use the internet as a "consumer reports" magazine When I am thinking about buying a product, even after 1 year + of vaping, I would hardly ever buy a new product without checking with the verdict here at ECF or another place. There will be people who love and hate every product, but with enough votes, the scales will generally tip in one direction or the other.
