I dunno if it makes a difference. I think everyone has their own way of mixing.

Personally, I use a votive candle holder, glass, to mix my juice in before I put it in bottles. It's like a small, straight sided, drinking glass that holds just under 4oz. Since I never make more than 60mls of a flavor at a time, 2 oz, this works for me. I also use a small, battery operated, milk frother to mix. You can get them on amazon for about $5. (I'm sure other places too)

Here's how 'I' do it and it's just what works for me and what I'm comfortable with. YMMV

I add all my flavors to the glass, mix for about 10 seconds with the frother, add PG, which as I understand it, is the flavor 'carrier', mix again for 10 sec. Then add VG, mix, then add nic, mix. When the bubbles have dissipated, I pour into my 30ml, amber glass bottles w/a small funnel, cap it and put in the Ultrasonic cleaner for a couple hours. Except for fruit flavors, I only put them in the UC for 8 mins.

Like I said, this works for me.

There has been some discussion about using a frother, good or bad. I tested on my own, made 2-30ml bottles of the same flavor, same recipe, same nic level but using the frother on only 1 of them, hand shaking the other one. Then 2 hours in the UC. The one I used the frother with seemed to be better mixed and ready to vape after the UC time, where the other still needed a week or 2 of steeping, as they had needed in the past before I started using the frother. Take that for what it's worth to you. I may be imagining the difference, who knows? But I'll continue to use the frother, just because, IMHO, it reduces the steep time.

Sure, if it works for you, great. I certainly don't see any potential issues...they're all going to end up mixed together anyway.

I add flavoring when I make the batch, but that's just how I prefer to do things. Pre-mixing actually would make things easier, and draw out a set amount of pre-mixed flavoring. I might try that!

The only difference I see it making is to make it easier if it's the main thing you make so you don't have to keep measuring out the ingredients. In other words if you make up a big batch of flavor and just add a set percentage every time you want to make that juice.

On the other hand if you're asking if will speed up the steeping process I would have to say no. Steeping is having the flavors combine with the PG, VG, and Nic. :vapor:

For my adv, I made a bottle of concantrate using the ingredients that are in the recipe.
The total is 23% flavor to base.
So when the time comes to make a batch, I simply add 23% to the bottle, add nic and base. Shake and done.
It does make mixing faster this way, but whether or not it lessens steep time, I don't think it does.
But then again, my adv requires absolutely no steeping.
It is shake and vape. Same taste on day 1 as day 60.

I wish I was that organised

For me, I only get time to DIY about once a month. So I tend to have a marathon session. Put out say ten bottles, label them up. Add all my nic to each bottle, then add all my PG and VG too each bottle, then the flavours. Repetition in each stage is the key for me, so I don't miss anything out. Just got to have a quiet house, unplug the phone and turn off the TV - nothing worse than getting disturbed mid flow.

That sounds like a good idea actually... I had thought about it before but now it makes sense, especially for flavors you mix often...

And trouble1000, I actually enjoy mixing and listening to hip hop on pandora :p not jamming out to it, but in the backround and still getting the creative vibes from it :)

If I had music on I'd be that busy singing along I'd probably end up putting orange in my pinacolada and chocolate in my strawberries and cream
Thinking about it though, it could be a good way to make a new mystery ADV.

Love listening to Nujabes anytime, diy to driving. Do you listen to any instrumental hip hop?

I keep an 4 ounce bottle of my adv flavors and add to nic/pg/vg when I need more. Makes it's really easy when time is lacking.
