I've been all set up now and running for a whole two days with my mini and Phiniac tank setup. Already wanting the Kir fanis Prive tank .. Got another Phiniac on the way .. Got a custom Serenity flexi sleeve coming .. My question is this .. Does wanting the next new shiny mod or accessory ever stop ? Does complete satisfaction ever happen? Have you found your ultimate vape? I thought this was going to be less costly than analogs heh! But I can't put a price on my health and enjoying this so much! Already thinking about getting a blemished one for backup. Should I get the 2.5one? I like the look of the 2 better but I like the engrave the logo in now. Hmm thanks for your replies and happy vaping from Las Vegas! :)

Not until you get a Z-Atty-Pro for your ProVari. That's my next purchase with my bonus check. )

It CAN stop for a while it depends on your personality I think. Me, I still like dripping over tanks, clearos, cartos, they don't do it for me. I'll use a clearo when driving that's about it. And I'm perfectly happy not adjusting anything on my e-cig. So yeah I've been contentedly vaping away on 1000 mh ego batts for a couple years now. However I did just break down and order a stabilized wood bogger box cuz well I needed something pretty. :)

it stops when you decide to make it stop. i see 5 things a day i could easily buy for my proV but in the end reality says they will just sit on my desk so i dont buy them. if you want to play pokimon it never will. you have to be happy with what you are using and accept there is always something new coming out, and unless you are reallyt looking for something better that what you have there isnt much reason to keep trying things other then just to play.

For me, it has slowed a lot. I've been at this for a couple years, and you would laugh if you knew all the things I tried, all the small battery systems I owned, all the awful delivery systems I spent WAY too much money on over time.

I have a great device, and a nice, mechanical backup. I am thinking about a second ProVari, but only because there's something going on with the one I have now. The battery is loose inside the tube (or something) and the thing shuts off sometimes. I know I'm going to have to send it to ProVape eventually and the thought of not having one scares me!

I have stumbled into RBAs, and I've found what I was missing. A great, adjustable, fiddly delivery system. Whether or not I stick to the two I have now is a question for another day. For right now, they're perfect.

I make my own liquids. So whatever flavors I want, I can make. If I don't have what I need on hand, supplies are just a couple days away.

So now, by only replacing wick, wire, batteries, PG, VG, and flavorings, I know I could happily vape on what I have for a long time to come. The need to buy more is not as great as it once was. Yes, it can be tempting..! But I try to look at the things that I buy (non-disposables/non-replaceables) as investments.

It's still a hobby for me though.. Mixing/tasting/perfecting juices, building wicks/coils.. And I know the end of buying isn't here yet. But the need to upgrade is gone, the urge to buy some new shiny toy is gone.

We've all been there. Some of us might still be there! But probably for 90-95% of us, a sweet spot does exist, we just have to find it.

Good post Adeline

Really I'm good with the RBA's and tanks I have and try not to look at the ones I don't have, it's getting a little easier .
I've found a few DIY juice's I really enjoy so now it's just experimenting for fun.
My weakness is putting that 2nd Provari in the cart over and over in different configurations and colors but I haven't hit the button yet.
The only excuse for a second Provari is the thought of being without one be it malfunction or loss.
That sounds good doesnt it?
;)

I think I've about hit my mod limit... ProVari, Vamo, Sig Zmax, CVI, MVP, 3x Twists I do have a TOX, a MadVapes VV box mod & a simple 3.7V box mod that don't get used much any more (well, I do take the box mods out camping - if they get ruined somehow not such a big loss). The ProVari & the MVP are definite keepers. The Twists too - until the batts die anyway. I'll decide to put some of the others up in the classies in the future.

My current weakness is RBAs. I've got multiple Chids (5x), Chobras (4x), AGA-Ts (2x) & -T2s (2x) , & and 1 original AGA. At least I use them all. :) I keep a different juice in each one. Thankfully, I'm not constantly buying new, different &/or "rebuildable" clearos any more. God... the money I spent on those in the 1st year. Oy vey!

Tx for all the thoughtful and insightful responses.. Makes me feel a little better there might be some contentment one day. I'm curious about DIY juices ( how do I get started on that? Not that I'm ready .. But curious) and I just have figured out how to do the tank carto combo.. Are RBAs really the way to go? They kinda scare me. :( I'm so not handy. Tx and happy vaping from Las Vegas! :)

well especially with DIY it helps to go to the proper subforum, it is not hard if you can pay attention and be careful. and man once you hit flavors you like it becomes cheap cheap. costs me about 1.30 or so per 30 ml of my fav

rba's can be frustrating for some who dont have patience but again they are cheap after the initial investment and get easier as you keep practicing and playing.

DIY is like cooking. There are ingredients. You have to have a general idea of what you want (strong flavors, lots of vapor, etc). Use a DIY calculator (of which there are quite a few), and punch in your numbers. It will tell you how much of what to mix together. Then you just combine ingredients. I started DIY when I was relatively new to the vaping scene.

Rebuildables I've only ventured into recently. I made a couple bad coils in my first go. But since then I've been turning them out quickly and easily. It depends on what you buy, and what materials (wire and wick) that you use. It's not the easiest thing in the world, but requires a bit of patience. I'm not electrically inclined AT ALL, btw. Ask me about routers and switches, and I'm your girl. But wires and electricity? I'll google it.

Just takes a bit of determination is all. And then you can make pretty much whatever you want, whether it's peanut butter cup juice or a 3ohm cotton-wick atty. :)

After 10 months of vaping and believing that I had found my go-to delivery devices (surprise! cartotanks...I only have 20), I just had to order the new AGA Tiamat PLUS w/Glass Tank. I'd been debating about dipping a toe into an RBA, and when I saw this at Discount Vapors, I decided to finally go for it. I literally know nothing about them other than watching the great video that Zen did for Provape and his ZAP. But I was afraid if I let this opportunity go by to get one now, they would be out of stock by the time I was truly ready.

I also had to replace my out-and-about mod today, a Smoktech VV Gripper. After only 7 weeks, the three front buttons fell into the mod, rendering it useless. It's a week shy of completing its 60 day warranty, so should still be covered, but I need something more durable and dependable than it turned out to be.

I love the form factor of a comfort-grip box mod. I decided to spend $30 + batteries on a Ovale/Segelei V8 Incremental VV. Hopefully I will like it as much as the Gripper and it will prove to be more durable. From the research I've done, its a better manufactured device than the Gripper.

So even when you feel you are content, there's always something that comes up.
