Does mixing 0mg nic cut down nic level

I decided when I want to vape all day I need to cut the nic level of some of the juices I have.

Might sound like a dumb question -- I was wondering if I used a 0mg juice with some of the others I have already - will that cut down the nic level? logically it sounds like it should - but wondering if anyone does it and notices lower nic?

thank you!

Yes, it will cut your nic level but if you are using pure PG or VG (without the nic), you are also going to dilute your flavor. If you go this route, make sure you are using pharma-grade PG or VG.

If you buy some of the same flavor but in the zero nic version to cut it, that would be a fine plan.

Thx Vape Nerd!

ya, I have 2 or 3 flavors of full bottles that I really like in 12mg nic. I'm ready for 6mg -- so I figure if I buy some of those same flavors in zero & blend them in until the 12 is done. then I can move on to 6mg.

That is a Good Technique.

If you blend a 0mg Flavor with the Same Flavor that has Nicotine in it, you reduce the Nicotine But Not the Flavor.

Or you could get the 6mg now & mix it 50/50 with the 12mg to go to 9mg the use the rest at 6mg when the 9mg is gone.
That way it's not as drastic a change.

Shouldn't the Percentages on the Left Hand side of those Equations Equal 100%?
Yes they should
They should be
75% 12mg + 25% 0mg = 100% 9mg
50% 12mg + 50% 0mg = 100% 6mg
25% 12mg + 75% 0mg = 100% 3mg

I had to do this also. Started at 36 mgs. That was too strong for all day. Nice wake up though... ;-)~ So I bought 0 nic in all the same flavors and started cutting them down to 24 mg.

No. My original example is correct. 4Wheelin4Banger just went further and made it more detailed by having the same max volume from start to finish. Let's go to more detail on my example...

75% of a 10ml bottle of 12mg + 75% of a 10ml bottle of 0mg = 100% of a 15ml bottle of 6mg
50% of a 10ml bottle of 12mg + 50% of a 10ml bottle of 0mg = 100% of a 10ml bottle of 6mg
25% of a 10ml bottle of 12mg + 25% of a 10ml bottle of 0mg = 100% of a 5ml bottle of 6mg

Or you could get the 6mg now & mix it 50/50 with the 12mg to go to 9mg the use the rest at 6mg when the 9mg is gone.

Yes they should
They should be
75% 12mg + 25% 0mg = 100% 9mg
50% 12mg + 50% 0mg = 100% 6mg
25% 12mg + 75% 0mg = 100% 3mg

let's not get into a urination competition over semantics and equations here

OP yes, you are doing it right....4wheelin up there has given you a good suggestion, cut the original nic'd juice down to 9mg by mixing in your zero nic at 25%

step down to 9 for a few weeks, see how you do and then go ahead with 6mg...im down to about 8mg and i found small changes are easier than one big large one....its likely that if you drop from 12 to 6 immediately you'll just end up vaping twice as much juice

good luck
