I was just going to post and say it can't be true because my daily use ggts while cleaned regularly is far from being pristine. but then I thought about it and all of my other GG items are kept safe and sound in their little velvet bags. Hopefully soon I will be able to buy a new daily use GGTS and get 223 polished and put up.
i tried that too but then broke down and bought a buffer and everything so i could polish up my daily workhorse when i need to...........
This cracked me up, especially now that my first GGTS is half brass. I swear I polish that thing so often a genie is going to pop out of it.
I think my OCD leaned me toward a GGTS haha. Mine is still in the mail and I'm already pacing back and forth with a checklist of brass parts trying to get everything set and perfect!
I used to be really bad. If I had a GGTS three years ago, it would never leave my house and would have been wrapped up in a microfiber 6 days out of a week. The GGTS is so nice, its like a piece of art, but it was made to be used and can always be buffed and polished.
I beat the heck out of mine--did a satin finish on most of the parts to hide any small nicks.

I think rather than them causing OCD, OCD people are just attracted to them. So many things to clean and adjust!
